Kyle Rittenhouse said he will destroy the AR-15-style weapon he used in the fatal shooting of two people last year at a racial injustice protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
In an appearance on the conservative podcast “The Charlie Kirk Show,” Rittenhouse said Tuesday that the gun was being "destroyed right now.”
“We don’t want anything to do with that,” he said.
Rittenhouse, 18, was acquitted of five felony charges related to his actions on Aug. 25, 2020, during a protest over the shooting of a Black man, Jacob Blake, by a white Kenosha police officer.
Rittenhouse was charged with reckless homicide in the slaying of Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and intentional homicide in the death of Anthony Huber, 26.

He should have signed it, cut two notches into it, and sold it to a collector.

Selling it for a profit would just open a whole new can of worms for this guy.

Sounds like someone is finally giving Kyle some good advice, and he’s listening to it.
Good for him.
I doubt he’s actually going to destroy the gun. Land sakes, it saved his life. I suspect he wants all the lefty nuts out there to think it’s destroyed rather than hanging above the mantel in his soon-to-be new mansion, complements of CNN, MSNBC, The View, etc.
He is going to destroy the one tool that kept him alive that night?
Put it up for auction and donate the proceeds to a worthy cause, like Trump’s re-election.
Disassemble it and sell the parts. Viola it’s destroyed.

Such a shame. The poor rifle didn’t do anything wrong and neither did Kyle.
If Rittenhouse thinks he can appease the leftists by destroying his gun he is sadly mistaken. What next, become a gun control advocate?
Well, actually it’s Dominic Black’s gun, and I believe it’s still a piece of evidence in Binger’s prosecution of Black, so I don’t think Rittenhouse or Black are free to do anything with it at this time.
Or to the Waukesha families
Or to the car dealership owner whose property Kyle was defending.
He needs to have a press release about a boating accident
