It would be nice to see C-SPAN or some equivalent run Olympic coverage the same way they cover political speeches, like the SOTU. No commercials, no comments, etc. But, without commercials, there is no way to pay for it.

Add to that the difficulty of the time delta, the coverage which consisted more of up-close-and-personal hagiography than actual events.... boom! The Olympics bottom out.

I didn’t watch a second of it. If the USOC and the team members choose to disrespect me, I’ll choose never to watch them or buy any product endorsed by them again - and I have a lot more discretionary income than the Antifa dweebs living in their moms basements.
