I feel no connection with professional athletes.
*************
And rest assured they feel no connection with us. The only thing these vainglorious prima donnas are connected to is money.
“I could hear the TV’s clicking off after a half hour of NBC celebrating the gay brit swimmer and his husband.”
Was that pathetic? Wow - how many times did they say, “his husband” and “his life is so much more centered with marriage [to another man] and a child [by surrogacy]”
I have to confess, I have not watched a single second of the Olymipics in at least 30 years and have no intention of watching them again.
It began as a hate America group and will end with an in your face finish..the off button is working and I am thankful. I know some in game are not but it’s the club that rules.
Not in my plans to watch, not at all.

You mean you’re not enthralled by watching endless commercials and pampered ingrates?
Hmm wondering about lawsuits against that girl who quit yesterday
People who said they were tuning into the olympics flag stomping or no flag stomping - idiotic wives of career military included- said they were going to watch just for this Simone girl
Well that’s over now
The adage, “Get woke, go broke”, continues to be true.
They should go the way of the equally archaic World's Fairs.
“ “guess Americans don’t want to watch a bunch of woke backstabbers...”
Not for half a second
I see anything related and I’m on that remote so fast it would curl your hair
Saw yesterday a poster on a screensaver for direct tv that girl who quit
Now they have to scrub her from those or they’ll look like people who still have their Christmas lights up in The summer
That’ll cost money
She’s going to so regret doing that
I don’t think advertisers understand that they are part of the reasons people are not watching. Commercials are no longer about the product but instead they are pushing the left’s ideology. If you watch commercials today it is often difficult to determine just what it is they are advertising until the final card comes up on the screen.
Some people are streaming it on the NBC apps. Peacock is one.
I used to belive such crap was important. It promoted peace and harmony among all nations.
Now it just screams NWO and wokism.
Get woke. Go broke. Scum.
Him again?
Last time around I remembered they were doing a whole mini-documentary on him. He had not gotten a medal, was not American, etc. It was making zero sense why they were paying so much attention to him...then at the end, they trumpeted the fact he was gay and getting ‘married’ to a man...”ah, so that’s the point of this.” Ridiculous. A whole profile on someone who had a mediocre record at best at the Olympics for no reason other than what kind of relationship he was in.
They did the same thing with an American Olympic skater...who only got a medal in a team performance. He was paid attention to like the star of the show (he was not) merely because of his sexuality and created a fake scandal that Mike Pence supposedly hated him for it (he did not...complete fabrication). So he received no medals on his own, and he still paraded around as a star Olympian where those who actually did get the medals you don’t even remember. The NBC commentators gushed over him “making these Olympics his own.” Nonsense. If he wasn’t gay no one would have paid any attention to him.
Do not care.....
That’s true as well.
>>> The fine young and women patriots who are participating can thank their woke colleagues for stripping away America’s support for the games. <<<
Amen.
In some cases they aren’t even women anymore...
Hey, see the tag line. P.S. I have the whole 'Duckman' series on DVD.
I haven’t seen a single Olympic event since the USA vs Russia hockey game in 1980, haven’t missed it either.
