I lived right there, on Woodruff, half a block from Mayfair High School! I graduated in 1966. We shopped at both Dutch Village and Fedco.

I lived right there, on Woodruff, half a block from Mayfair High School! I graduated in 1966. We shopped at both Dutch Village and Fedco. If you were a football fan, you might have been sitting across the field from me on the afternoon of October 20, 1962, when Pioneer High School played Mayfair. I was rooting for Pioneer because my father was a vocal music and math teacher at Pioneer--he wrote its alma mater and its football song.

Oh my...Vera Lynn and Deep In The Heart of Texas. Cool!

Surfin USA. If you don’t know who performed it there is no hope for you. The melody came from another geographical song.
Route 90--Clarence "Bon Ton" Garner (1954)
