Pentagon: Military will prepare for COVID-19 vaccines to be mandatory in September

The Army and other branches of the military are preparing to administer mandatory COVID-19 vaccines as early as Sept. 1. This order is pending full Food and Drug Administration approval of the COIVD-19 vaccines, now under emergency use approval. The Army Times is reporting that the directive came from an executive order sent by the Department of the Army Headquarters.

OK, it is military, and they can make their own rules. But as a general principle, I am against ANY MEDICAL PROCEDURE made mandatory for civilians.

The FDA has NOT approved these vaccines. They have only authorized them for Emergency use. The Military is full of people who are at only the tiniest risk for Covid-19. The vaccines will almost certainly do much more harm than good.

The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines might get FDA approval by then. The military might even have been notified that approval is imminent. As of now, the military is vaccinated at a higher rate than the general “adult” public, at 68%.

Having had to push my guys to get flu shots every year, I can assure you that if flu shots were not mandatory, the vaccination rate would have been well below 25%.

Once approved it is not considered experimental.

This is why the military will not make it mandatory until it is approved.

That is the logical course of action.

I talked with a soldier on leave a few days ago.

I asked him if the military was culling soldiers that doesn't have the same mind set at the current administration. His answer was:
I don't like Trump.

I suggested to him not to take the vaxx. he said he was fully vaxxenated.
I explained why needs to take Vitman C and D in large amounts and told him to not take anymore Vaxx. He was a bit confused. I'm fully vaccinated he repeated.
I clarified: There will be no end to these Covid vaccinations. He rolls his eyes and repeated:
I don't like Trump.

There was something very off about this soldier and it had nothing to do with Trump.

The Moderna vaccine has been a nothing burger for me (age 81) and my wife (stage-4 cancer fighter for 3 years), 5 months after receiving the 2nd jab.

If we both have zero side effects, the covid vaccines are a big nothing burger.

But, making them mandatory for civilians is something that I feel might be worth fighting.

Flu shots give at least a little immunity from the Flu. The covid injections do not.

Agree completely. I am furiously against any health procedure mandate for civilians.

With the multitude of reports of sickness and death coming as a result of the jabs, that is unlikely to happen soon and if the FDA does move to remove the emergency order, I expect lawsuits to delay such action.
