Sad that all those members of Molly Hatchet are gone, especially Danny Joe Brown.

Oh, golly, if I was to post 1% of my favorite tunes over 4 minutes long, I’d be here all night. Even making it a 10 minutes long threshold would take me hours.
However, in the rock genre, one of the most prolific (and my favorite) writers of long tunes was Ken Hensley. Recently departed this Earth, one of his last compositions seems to foreshadow his passing, even tho’ there is no evidence he consciously knew, even a few days prior, that the end was so near.
In his memory, here is “Suddenly”.

The vid is sort of “housed” in a story of a relationship “suddenly” wrecked by infidelity and betrayal, but, “inside” that is Ken facing the end of his time on Earth. Maybe it’s just me: I can’t watch it without tears, and yet a smile too knowing Ken found his peace with God, even tho’ Ken was taken much sooner than I think he would have wanted.
Thanks, CommerceComet...((HUGS))...history of songs are always fun.
Actually there are a million songs that are my favorites that are 4 minutes or longer. This is one of them.
So, how's everyone doing this morning?
