It is really worth it to listen to the vocals-only recording. People think of this as a Paul solo with the rest of the Beatles coming in for the chorus. Actually, there is an amazing amount of backing vocals by John and George during that first part, more than just John joining Paul to do a duet on the last verse. You can easily pick out Ringo's voice in the chorus. You can also faintly hear Paul's profanity at the 2:58 mark.

A band I was in was playing the Melbourne (FL) Art Festival and due to a scheduling screw up, Pat Metheny opened for us. They had to get down to West Palm Beach. THAT was awesome. 🎤🎸🎼
