Not good. Flipping FL would be bad...flipping TX means no more Republican Presidents...ever.
and destroying all those places.
Those aren’t real “Americans”. They’re vermin and they’ll spread their vicious liberal bs all over TX and FL.

Many of these folks are RETIREES who cannot afford the high cost of living and high property taxes of NY and CA.
But they are free to vote without worrying about the consequences of their vote.
All over NC.
I can understand why. Drove up through Jersey, NY and CT this winter.
For Business Btw.
It was hell.
One Word: C A L I F O R N I C A T I O N
I tell you, that extra 33 sq ft is almost enough space for a Biden-style rumpus room. It makes the move worthwhile.
What is a "rumpus" anyway?
“high property taxes of NY and CA”
Ironically, CA has some of the lowest property taxes in the nation IF you have owned your home for 20 or 30 years or more. You are protected by the 1978 “People’s Initiative to Limit Property Taxation” aka “Prop 13.” Your property tax is initially set at 1% of your purchase price and can go up no more than 2% every year thereafter.
California kills you with the highest sales taxes in the country, the highest income taxes in the country, AND the highest gasoline taxes in the country.
As soon as they find out they can buy beer at a gas station it is GAME ON!
With biden you just really don't want to know.

RE: Who vote for democrats
Not sure about that. Did anyone do a survey?

Texas has no state taxes, but is well known for high property taxes.
Yep, it's great if you're a long timer but most others are pretty screwed. Your neighbor could be paying triple and more. And I'd bet they're getting tired of waiting for the old timers to die off. They'll likely go after prop 13 at some point.
RE: Texas has no state taxes, but is well known for high property taxes.
I work for an international company and do testing of our products with customers nationwide.
One of our customers had an engineer who lived in the pleasant suburb of Plano, Texas just outside of Dallas, who came to our lab in Long Island.
During lunch, I was complimenting his state for having no state taxes and he gave the same complaint that you observed -— he had high property taxes.
I asked him how big his house was ( if he did not mind ). He said about 2,400 square feet. My house in Long Island is about 2,200 square feet.
I asked him how much he pays in property taxes a year. He shook his head and said about $6,500.
I just laughed and and asked him if he would like to know how much I paid in property taxes for my house in Long Island.... He was astonished when I told him it was nearly DOUBLE what he was paying.
