Like cancer, the progressive disease of "progressivism" is quite literally attacking healthy political parts of our Republic's body. "Progressives" aren't doing this intentionally as they just want to flee the potentially fatal disease they have inflicted where they now fester, but that's what they'll do because, well, because they have learned to despise what they profess to love.
True. But the cops and teachers in Texas are making solid 6 figure salaries like they are on StrongIsland.
With a Suffolk PD patrolman topping out at around $110k, before OT and night differentials there’s a reason folks fly in from all over the country to take the police test. One year I think they had 80,000 folks taking the test.
I have a friend on the job there. He’s knocking down $140k, easy.
Toss in having to pay those crazy pensions for 20-30 years at least.
So, as someone who is literally living in the belly of the beast, what flipped Cali like it did?
Because it seems to me that except for 3 or 4 big cities the state is about as RED as a state can get.
Correction……..Aren’t making 6 figures like they are
View of the ocean? LOL...I’m talking about track homes.
C’mon!
Btw, I agree with you on the Taxes. Anyone moving into S.CA and paying these bloated inflated prices, are going to get gang raped on taxes.
Rd and laugh later.
I tell you, that extra 33 sq ft is almost enough space for a Biden-style rumpus room. It makes the move worthwhile.
“”””””””””””””””””{
That’s smaller than a jail cell.
Yep...I’ve had plumbers tell me millions of homes in S. CA are ticking time bombs due to the plumbing systems which are from the 50s and 60s and are now way past their life span and are rotted out and leaking. I know, I’ve see it close up and paid some horrific costs to repipe.
The goal: turn them blue.
In between a row and a ruction, I think.
Yankee and CA libs go home!
TX is full!
:-)
The RATs always talk about the wealthy paying their fair share; looks like Trump DID it.
Makes you want to elect fiscally conservative candidates in local elections, doesn't it?
I spent a few weeks near Palos Verdes south of LA. This is one of the areas near LA where the elite meet to eat. Lots of money in the area. Taxes aren’t a problem for those people...
I’m intimately familiar with PV. And don’t buy into the bit people in areas like PV don’t have $ or tax issues. They do.
What’s funny about PV, it takes a few minutes to drive down the hill, and they’re instantly in a s**t zone, not far from the senseless murder districts.
When I was out there, there was a senseless shooting that killed multiple people at a bowling alley in nearby Torrence. In a big area like LA it gets 30 seconds or so on TV. In my midwest metro area it might get a few minutes at most..
