A very pleasant good Wednesday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thank Luvie for this morning's thread.
And I got the very same result as Luvie.
You belong in the 1950s Nifty! So many classic things came out in the 1950s, and you wouldn't change a thing about them. You belong in the decade of Elvis, Eisenhower, and the birth of television.
How's everyone doing this morning?

I drool over the classics, too, and did even while I had Baby. The old cars had style, which can’t be said of what they make today.
Hubby put a lot of effort into making Baby a beauty. The car as special to him because he used to ride in it when he was young. He was thrilled when he found out it was still around. After some wheeling and dealing the owner finally agreed to sell it to him.

Were you glad to finally get a break from the crazy weather? It finally moved out and is almost here now, though the first round won’t be too wild. Just wet. The next round, later today, could get dicey.
Did you and Gizmo have the lake more to yourselves yesterday? I imagine it was pretty crowded over the long weekend.

Weird that I’m a ‘50s gal. The ‘70s were my “funnest”.

Yep, we do have storms in the forecast for later today. It's been quiet though. I was able to get the grass cut yesterday.
We did have a great visit to Chisolm Trail Park yesterday. Although there were some people out there, we were able to have picnic row to ourselves. We also walked the tall grass on both sides of the park. Gizmo also got to roll over on poop as well.
Pics from yesterday:
We plan on doing Wichita Ridge later today.

“It was a kinder era.”
Ain’t that the truth! I know it wasn’t perfect but as God is my witness all my memories of it are in technicolor and very, very nice, fond and warm!

Good Morning Kathy! (((HUGS)))) Sorry but none of those questions applied or didn’t have any meaning for me; I like the 1930’s era though.

50’s, but I didn’t need a quiz to find that out. Every morning after I wake up I look in the bathroom mirror, and there he is,looking back at me saying; “It isn’t the 50’s anymore.” If you didn’t live it, you didn’t experience it. To be a patriot then wasn’t a sin.
