Well, they had their own “tech”. Remember...the telephone, telegraph and some new fangled farm implements were their tech. :)

They should have had a none of the above. That is my REAL answer to most of them.

I grew up in the ‘50s and did have a poodle skirt. It was turquoise. Wore it with either saddle shoes or penny loafers. LOL
Definitely LOVE the cars.
But the ‘80s were the most fun decade of my life.

Indeed they were. I miss my Baby but I wasn't showing the car any more. It was time for someone else to have fun with it.

Beautiful! Is that candy apple red I’m seeing? That is the car I wanted the most and never could afford one, not even back in d’ day!

Howdy, Kathy.
Hope it isn’t a “zoo” week for you.
A bit blustery up your way today. Little whitecaps on the lake and it made my tummy lurch a few times watching the float planes come in for landings. LOL

Not candy apple red. It’s candy wineberry red.
Baby was SUPPOSED to be a daily driver but Hubby made it too pretty for that and it was a show car.
The ol’ bum back reached the point that spiffing the car up for shows was just too much for it. Then I got hooked up with the military museum and Saturdays were spoken for.
So now it’s in NC being enjoyed by the new owner.

I doubt he could love the car as much as I did. I know how much effort Hubby put into making the car a gem. Lotsa blood, sweat, and tears.
But I’d say he’s enjoying it a lot. It really is a sweet ride and always got a lot of attention at the car shows and cruise-ins I took it to.

I can only imagine. I know I nearly drool when I see a cool classic around here! I haven’t seen anything that pretty, though.
