As Thursday evening turned into Friday morning in the Middle East, the Israel Defense Forces began a ground operation against Hamas targets following days of indiscriminate attacks from the Iranian funded and equipped terrorists.
Israel Defense Forces @IDF IDF air and ground troops are currently attacking in the Gaza Strip.
Shortly after the IDF announcement that ground troops were joining the air attack, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted a video in which he says "I said that we would charge a very heavy price from Hamas," adding "the last word was not said and this operation will continue as long as necessary."

As Katie reported Thursday morning, an IDF spokesperson confirmed that a ground invasion was an option on the table as Israel continued to launch successful air strikes against terrorist targets, taking out a number of key leaders behind this week's attacks on Israeli cities.

It's no doubt wrong to mention the 'fun factor' in the context of leveling cities; but, I was thinking of the fun factor of operating such equipment in general. I grew up in a heavy-construction family; and, while it's been decades since I've operated anything, I know that a D7 is more fun than a D4 -- and I'd probably pay to get in the cab of some of these modern giants for a while.

the enemy population that is Occupying Israeli territories must be repatriated to Arabia, Egypt, etc.
the way they’ve behaved murdering and bombing and stabbing so many Innocent Christians and Jews and Druze and others over the last century, my bets are on this actually happening and probably pretty soon. it certainly must be done if there is ever to be any peace (the Saudis and Egyptian governments know how to handle their violent Muslims, Jerusalem doesn’t)

I have always though Israel should have developed a strategic bomber. Ground attacks produce too many casualties.

The IDF leaked that Israel was going to use ground troops in Gaza. Hamas terrorists responded by going to the terror tunnels in preparation, separating them from the civilians. Israel then bombed the tunnels.
