As Thursday evening turned into Friday morning in the Middle East, the Israel Defense Forces began a ground operation against Hamas targets following days of indiscriminate attacks from the Iranian funded and equipped terrorists.

Shortly after the IDF announcement that ground troops were joining the air attack, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted a video in which he says "I said that we would charge a very heavy price from Hamas," adding "the last word was not said and this operation will continue as long as necessary."

As Katie reported Thursday morning, an IDF spokesperson confirmed that a ground invasion was an option on the table as Israel continued to launch successful air strikes against terrorist targets, taking out a number of key leaders behind this week's attacks on Israeli cities.

Thre rockets were launched from Lebanon earlier, but it was quickly reported that it was not Hezbullah, it was a Palestinian faction simply showing solidarity.

I have watched Israel absorb the face slaps of the Palestinian terrorists for years...many years. I’ve said, all along, that when Israel has bled enough, when Israel has taken enough punches, Israel will respond. And, it won’t be pretty. It won’t be PC. And, it won’t stop until it is done.
Is this the moment?
Almost as good as the bombmakers who blow themselves up.
Indiscriminate fire into civilian populations is a war crime. Of course we all know this, but the Hamas defenders out there don’t seem to care.
If Hamas wanted to “get attention” like the CNN analyst said, they should fire at military targets. Not civilians. And of course the rockets they have are crude and indiscriminate. Of course some will land on their own people.

No this is not that moment and I pray such moment never comes. This is just an extension of their terrible diplomacy. The Palestinians always play their cards wrong and when they think they have no options left they resort to this. They have been shut out - they shut themselves out - of every opportunity ever presented and have become an afterthought. Hamas is led by cruel and hateful people, while the west bank is led by greedy corrupt old hateful people. Of course, Iran is probably playing a role too. They divided themselves into many factions, and even two separate political entities for two separate land masses each with their own separate alliances.
Remember, Clinton offered them $30 billion in infrastructure and commerce aid. Trump offered them over $50 billion as an opening offer they could have received a lot more if they came to the table. Turned them all down and watched 3 more Arab countries walk away from them and sign peace and trade deals with Israel. They have only themselves to blame for another generation of poverty and war.
When the media whine about “civilian” casualties in Gaza remember that those “civilians” voted for the Hamas terrorists to run their enclave by very large margins. And that even their children have been taught to hate Jews their whole lives and frequently try to kill them. Israel won’t do it, but Gaza deserves what the Mongols eventually did to Muslim cities.
