More than five million people, or nearly 8 percent of those who got a first shot of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, have missed their second doses, according to the most recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That is more than double the rate among people who got inoculated in the first several weeks of the nationwide vaccine campaign.

My brother-in-law and his communist wife stood in line to get both of theirs.
I’m guessing the likely reason for skipping the second could be bad side-effects from the first one.
I am skipping them all until I am compelled. And at some time between family, friends, democrats, or work, compulsion will happen
If anybody ever asks me I am going to tell them it is a hate crime to ask an illegal question about a person’s health status per HIIPA.
Some people are afraid that the reaction to the second dose would be bad. I had both doses of the Pfizer vaccine — had mild chills for a day after the second dose. No lasting side effects.
After seeing what’s happening in Brazil and India I hope more people would come to their senses. It is magical thinking to believe that escaping the first wave of this virus gave you some magical immunity — it looks like this will continue to recur until we get herd immunity through infection or vaccine.
In India they opened up everything after the first wave and are now paying the penalty. For some time there were narratives floating around that they had some special immunity or their climate is different etc. Looks like none of that mattered in the end.

I have a lib brother and 15 years ago because of his stupid beliefs made him leave my house at gun point and later prevented him from attending our father’s funeral.
Being beneficent makes one “feel” awesome. Mrs rktman and I have chosen to forego getting the shots so that some underserved “bipoc” may have ours. Well, that and we just don’t care to get them. And since the commencement of this attempt at controlling millions of people, we’ve been exposed to a LOT of folks we don’t know at various gatherings of more that a dozen at a time. So far so good. We know a lot of folks who have had it and we’ve associated with them before and after......Just sayin’.......
This cabal is one stupid step from a bridge too far, on so many fronts....
(energy, Covid, Education, gun control, the border, election integrity, law enforcement, free exercise of religion, race relations, etc...)
Ask them about their AIDS test results.
I have an acquaintance who got the first Pfizer. 66 years old and said he was never so sick his whole life. He’s not getting the second.
why should anyone believe anything that the cdc, fauxi, and the scientific community says about a so called “deadly virus” when they refuse to speak up about the dangers of our feral government opening the border, inviting, and then distributing thousands of disease carrying invaders across our country during a so called “global pandemic”???...
Didn’t need it. Whatever they shot in my ass in boot camp is still working.
You can’t even spell HIPAA.
That only applies to health care workers.
I’m waiting for the day when officials will recommend we all get the third shot. Then the fourth shot and then just to be safe we need to be vaccinated every six months.
And oh by the way, still wear that mask. Still keep 6 feet apart.

Go read and educate your self on what HIPAA really is.
My immediate family has also skipped the vaccine shots. That’s my spouse and our 3 kids. Several in-laws have taken it, but we don’t get into a discussion over it.
Lets see how you feel 6-12 mos out. Keep yourself alert for heart arrhythmia and lung infection.
