Some people are afraid that the reaction to the second dose would be bad. I had both doses of the Pfizer vaccine — had mild chills for a day after the second dose. No lasting side effects.
After seeing what’s happening in Brazil and India I hope more people would come to their senses. It is magical thinking to believe that escaping the first wave of this virus gave you some magical immunity — it looks like this will continue to recur until we get herd immunity through infection or vaccine.
In India they opened up everything after the first wave and are now paying the penalty. For some time there were narratives floating around that they had some special immunity or their climate is different etc. Looks like none of that mattered in the end.
Lets see how you feel 6-12 mos out. Keep yourself alert for heart arrhythmia and lung infection.
Yep. The virus mutates. Then it kills people. It ain't the flu, bro.
(Pats govt. lickspittle troll on head.)
What's the incubation time for the virus, again, from initial infection to presentation of frank symptoms?
The coof has been around over a year now. Rather coincidentally fortunate timing for those pushing the mRNA jabs, that magically India is "melting down" just when US compliance with the Deep State wet dreams is flagging.
And speaking of climate being different, what's going on in Africa, where, shall we say delicately, medical care is often not up to first-world standards, and the climate is roughly comparable to much of India? Think of it as a control group.
I am thinking that it might be “magical thinking” that these are even waves of the same thing, or that the only “vaccine” that seems to be being forced on everyone is even having any effect.
Reliable sources of information seem nonexistent.
Neither my wife nor I had anything more than a slightly sore injection site after both the first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Though I was sore all over from going up and down a ladder all day painting my house.
Both my younger brother and my wife’s niece ran a low fever for a couple of days, so not everyone reacts the same way. My brother asked if I took some Tylenol as he advised, I explained a six-pack of Blue Moons worked wonders for me :)
You seem honest and sincere. You do realize the vaccine doesn’t stop you from getting COVID right?!?
>>In India they opened up everything after the first wave and are now paying the penalty.<<
The reason the pandemic is so bad in India is because of their poor hygiene and infrastructure, 1.4 Billion people crammed together and abject poverty.
They could clamp down their cities tight as a drum and still have high transmission rates.
Some people are “afraid” is a straw man, disrespectful argument that I would expect on a liberal website. To be clear, these people have made what is for them a rational decision, likely based on the fact that they felt so bad after the first shot that it’s worth the risk to skip the second shot for a virus with an over a 99 percent chance of survival. These people are likely not obese, take vitamin D and exercise too. They literally and correctly expect that their symptoms from COVID will be less severe than from the second shot.
