Rasmussen has a poll released today highlighting the corporate risks involved in entering politics. Coca-Cola now discovering the cost of corporate wokeism as 37% of respondents say they are buying less product during boycott.

Thirty-three percent (33%) of Black adults say they are less likely to buy Coca-Cola because of the company’s involvement in the Georgia election law controversy, as are 35% of White adults and 44% of other non-white adults. As noted by the National Pulse:

[…] Respondents were asked several questions, including, “Is it a good idea or a bad idea for corporations to become involved in political controversies?”

Overall, 62 percent of respondents said that it was a “bad idea,” with only 20 percent saying it was a “good idea,” and 17 percent saying they were “Not sure.” When asked if they had ever boycotted a company over “political issues,” 52 percent of those polled said “No,” while 41 percent replied “Yes.”

The third and last question on the survey asked: “After the Georgia legislature enacted a new election law requiring voter ID, Coca-Cola was one of the companies that publicly condemned the law. Does that make you more or less likely to purchase Coca-Cola products?”

Over a third of the respondents – 37 percent – said that they were “Less likely” to purchase Coca-Cola products due to the company’s interference. (more)

Perhaps one of the more telling statistics is that 45% of those aged 40 to 64 are boycotting Coke’s corporate wokeism. This demographic is a key group with the majority of consumer spending power during the peak of their income earning. Losing 45% of the U.S. market audience is a massive hit, even for a global (multinational) corporation.

“Less”?! How about none! Also, people have to keep in mind that there are a dozen products out there that are made by Coke.

I believe a lot more than 37% are avoiding Coca Cola products. I was in our local Acme on monday. They had a huge displayon the right as you entered the store. It was about 20 feet long and stacked about 10 feet high in the rear. I was in the store for about an hour. When I was going out, the entire display looked as though nobody had taken anything from it. I believe most people feel as I do, that Coca Cola should stick to amking soda and stay the hell out of politics. They had no business in Georgia politics.

Few Americans know that Coke’s Fanta was developed by Coca Cola’s German outfit then under Nazi control. Nonetheless, it was later adopted by Coca Cola USA.

Woke-a-Cola is reducing their prices near me to clear out the in-store stock and adjust production for the lower demand.

Woke-a-Cola must hope the lower prices keep some customers but I suspect it will only sell more to people who don't care while the Americans that Coke attacked correctly move on to other products and don't come back.

Great strategy. I wish everyone would get on board. They’re in 200 countries, though. Not sure if just losing market share in the USA is going to sink them.

As usual, those hurt most will be the working stiffs that bottle the stuff and drive the trucks to deliver it.

Coke owns a lot of stuff:

I long ago chose not to buy Coca-Cola products because their products suck. :P

I also attempt to avoid Chinese products for a host of reasons, but unfortunately sometimes there are things that have to be done and due to poor decisions by others China is the only source for the product or tool. And leaving the task undone is not an option. “Sorry, boss, can’t go to work because the tool I need to fix the car is made in China and I can’t buy that - I’ll wait til some American company tools up to make it, see you in six years” doesn’t fly with most employers for some reason...

“...a lying CHP @$$hole near Barstow. After all the fees and penalties and online school it was $500 for going 7mph over the limit on my Triumph in the middle of the freaking Mojave. Effin pigs.”

I’ve posted this before. A garage owner I was working with had a deputy he’d known since the deputy was a kid visit him. The owner related a similar experience and the deputy told him, basically, our only job now is revenue generation. We like to stop old white people as there is virtually no possibility of them having wants and warrants. We seek them out for anything we can, as they are a quick stop and a few hundred bucks. We try never to stop a car full of young black men as we must, by law, run them all for wants and warrants and it’s extremely likely one will have them and that ties us up for the afternoon; meaning we aren’t out writing tickets.

Overhearing that conversation had a chilling effect on me. I already hated the self-financing departments all over Tallahassee. They have their onw EPA, that’s a total of four: federal, state, county and now city. The last two are self-financing, meaning they have written so many rules that virtually everybody is in violation of something. They have uniforms and guns, too. The building inspectors ride around looking for things to ticket. A contractor told me years ago that he added 3000 for every 50,000 in costs to cover the fines. This is all driven by high pay and huge benefits.

I’ve occasionally had a coke. Now I’m not doing even that. Companies whose products are entirely optional, as all of Woke-A Cola’s products are, really should re-think diving into neo-Marxist politics.

I would boycott, but I stopped drinking coke years ago after watching the youtube of the guy who “ate” a bottle of coke (the caramelized chemicals and sugar left after boiling off the water) spread on toast.

I called and said that I will never buy another Coca-Cola product until they offer an apology and get out of the woke business.
