Fox News host Jeanine Pirro agreed with a Minnesota jury's guilty verdict in the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin and predicted the convictions would hold against an appeal.
Pirro, a former district attorney and an ally of former President Donald Trump who often praises law enforcement, said the decision to convict Chauvin of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter in the death of George Floyd was "supported by the facts."
"I've tried many murder cases, and I've sat as a judge on murder cases. It is rare that you even get a picture of the victim in a murder case ... but here, we had a living, breathing person that the jury was able to relate to. ... This was an emotional as well as an intellectual decision," she said on Tuesday. "And when I say that, make no mistake: The facts are solid on this verdict. This verdict will be upheld on appeal."
Pirro applauded the convictions as proof that "the American justice system works."
"For all those people that want to burn down streets, just let the court do its job," she added.

The Five kissing the ass of their masters no doubt........ just lost respect for everyone on Fox news ‘cept Tucker Carlson, everyone else is too afraid of being called racists, so much so maybe they are...
STOP WATCHING FOX!
My son was a law clerk for the Minnesota Court of Appeals and agrees the conviction will be upheld on appeal.
Now the non-lawyer dumbass contingent will bash Judge Jeanine because a legal expert has given gopher opinion on a legal matter.
Did you see the full video. HIS KNEE WAS NOT ON HIS NECK!
And there was no sign of trauma to his neck. Propaganda spread by the mob.
If you are a cop in a big Democrat city, whatever evil befalls you and your family is on you. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out the social contract with cops in those cities is over.
The flashing red lights in life are there for a reason.
She is probably correct. Maxine’s words might be a problem, though.
Chauvin could have contributed to Floyd’s death, I believe. But sitting on a jury is not an easy task.
What the Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) will do, as normal, will carry it too far.
You ain't kidding. This'll sure extend the run on ammo and drive prices higher, what with law enforcement officers quitting all over the country already.
We're on our own.
All the conservative talk show hosts are jumping up and down, trying to be seen as being on the right side of history regarding this matter. It was only a case of one thug meeting up with another thug.
I don’t listen to Hannity much, but the few times I have he is incessantly talking about that 9 minute video, and the hurt in his voice, that man is in anguish over that video, and he wants everyone to know he is in anguish over that video, more so than any other person on this earth. Sadness pervades his voice when he talks about that video. I bet he cries about it. He will be talking about it for the next five years. His virtue will be emblazoned across the radio waves for all time.
I used to think she was ok.
It’s basically a conviction of manslaughter under 3 different theories. Not uncommon.
He’ll only be sentenced for one.
Evidently she knows nothing about justice.
And the Dems who run the city and are responsible for not taking Chauvin off the streets get off "Scott Free".
IMHO, Chavin was responsible for committing some violation, but not what he was railroaded with, and people like Floyd just got a "whack the po-po for free" card with this verdict.
Methinks it would be prudent to relocate out of any urban center now ...
If a first degree murder charge had also been there, would the jury have convicted him on that, too?
Last of Fox for me.
This overpayed tv hack / fraud knows the Radical left wing
Minn Supreme court probably consulted on how to convict the white guy .
So did she with her pathetic biased coverage
at
fox leftist news .
Pirro need never be taken seriously again.
The mob overtook 100 judges in November and December. Very few seemed to have cared.
I was shocked to see and hear her this evening. She must have been given a script by the Fox bosses.
“Here, read this, it will calm down the blacks who cares about our audience?”
Trial by broadcast media is no way to treat justice.
