White House chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci said Monday it is “disturbing” that some Americans won’t take a Covid-19 vaccine due to political reasons.
Fauci said those refusing to get vaccinated against the virus are the same ones who say the U.S. government is “encroaching on our liberties” by asking Americans to wear masks and implement other pandemic safety measures. He said the “easiest” way to get out of the pandemic is to get a vaccine.

I don’t mind that some people don’t feel comfortable getting these vaccines now, or perhaps ever. That’s a personal decision each individual has to make for themselves.
But this irrational fearmongering based on a half-understood single paper from a decade ago? Or worse - based on the choice of words used in a Ted Talk from several years back? To say nothing of the random ridiculous claims made that have no basis whatsoever in observable reality? It’s terrible.
It serves nobody’s best interest to have a bunch of lies spread. Put the facts in front of people and let them make their decision. If they decide to get vaccinated, that should be respected. If they decide not to, that should also be respected. The vast majority will decide to do so.
It is “disturbing “ that this jerk uses a manufactured virus to push his statist libtard politics.

Emergency Use Authorization is one of four paths that enable the FDA to provide faster access to new medicines.
With the recent 6-month studies following the Phase 1, 2, and 3 clinical trials, Pfizer and Moderna are now positioned to request full FDA approval. It’s expected that their applications will go in soon (next 1-2 months). There is no expectation of any delays for those approvals beyond the normal FDA bureaucracy.
They aren’t FDA approved because there hasn’t yet been enough time to complete all of the studies necessary to go down that particular path. That’s why there are other paths for situations where it’s appropriate. Who made the determination that this was a situation where an accelerated path was appropriate? President Trump did.
So I am placing myself in the CONTROL GROUP.

I’m more concerned about the idiots running the the distribution process. I suspect possible contamination during transportation and storage, onsite screwups, etc. Distribution under President Trump would have been much more successful.
J&J uses human fetal tissue so that’s not an option for me. The mRNA vaccines are supposedly safe and effective but the keepers of woke are in charge and I don’t trust them. In addition, do we really know the possible long-term negative effects of the LNP approach?

I am very healthy, an excellent immune system and know that I can survive easily something that is 99.7% survivable.
This is what is so bizarre. A virus, according to the CDC that only 6% of the deaths, 550,000 are true Covid deaths, making this number around 33,000. 33,000 in two years, 2020 and 2021.
This does not pass the smell test.

Sorry Fauci, the refusal is because I follow science ... the “vaccine” is useless and unproven. Recent studies by actual doctor show 60% of the new COVID cases are by vaccinated people.

I had my jabs in Jan/Feb and am still kicking. In fact most people I know have had theirs and have had no problems at all. And most everyone I know are conservative/Republicans who follow politics closely. We heard all of the anti-jab arguments and discounted them.
1) According to the CDC’s own statistics.
I’m 40 years old, in good health and have no underlying conditions. If I catch COVID, I have a .005% chance of having anything more than mild symptoms. So why would I take a vaccine that does what my body will do naturally?
2) The vaccine doesn’t prevent me from catching COVID, so I will still have wear a mask in public. So what’s the point?
3) I work from home, so my exposure to the general public is slim to none.
4) I’m not scared of COVID, so there’s no reason to get a vaccine to protect me from something I’m not scared of.

part of the reason people aren’t taking vaccines is, there is no vaccines to take. In my area, “Unavailable” is notationed next to most of the locations listed. There are two locations notated as ‘limited’ availability.
