A ship big enough that it can block the Suez for days and be very hard to dislodge, perhaps should not have been allowed in the canal in the first place.
I will not be surprised to see size restrictions imposed after this.
Are there helicopters that could offload cargo, thereby lowering the mass displaced? Could a temp crane be erected?

The "without evidence" leftist talking point doesn't apply. Bloomberg reports the ship actually sped up as it rammed the bank.
And there are so many contradictions in the reporting you'd think we were back at the Las Vegas mass shooting.
It was the wind. The ship lost its bearings. There weren't any tugboats. There were tugboats, but the wrong kind. Backup tugboats were then sent, but they too weren't powerful enough. There was one earth mover available. The U.S. military is offering aid. It's going to take days to solve. It's going to take weeks to solve. It could be solved by Wednesday. It was investigated. It's going to be investigated. It came from China. Its charted course depicts a vulgar image. It was the wind.
