Ok, maybe...but that doesn't mean Trump was powerless. Based on some post-election stories, I'm convinced Trump's Achilles heel of loyalty to aging incompetents like Rudy helped sink him. Nobody is perfect, but that also means the opposition isn't insurmountable.
Out Founders faced a hostile England, Loyalists, and scores of other opposing forces. They didn't quit. Are conservatives now, 200+ years later, are going to look at a bunch of opposing programmers and attorneys and say "war's over man, Wormer dropped the big one..."?
