That uninviting outer fencing around the U.S. Capitol will reportedly come down in the coming days after it’s made a mockery of the principles this country was founded upon for more than two months.
Acting House Sergeant-at-Arms Timothy Blodgett issued a memo on Friday announcing that the Capitol architect and the U.S. Capitol Police together “will remove the outer perimeter fencing around the Capitol complex sooner than initially anticipated.”
CNN reported that the move could come as early as this weekend, said Blodgett. The man told lawmakers that “there does not exist a known, credible threat against Congress or the Capitol Complex that warrants the temporary security fencing.”
The exercise in political theatrics was anticipated to last until the fall of this year. Without a boogeyman, apparently people who aren’t covetous of power made the decision to end the charade.

10) Hillary Clinton initiates a reign of terror.
The Democrats owe every American reparations.
This “security drama” was an insult to every single law abiding American.
Why do you need an architect to remove temporary fencing?
The fence should stay up to keep her and the rest of congress IN.
Hillary wouldnt last two days.
The sticking point is Step 8: Senate Confirms New VP.
The Senate would be tied 50/50 on any vote, with no VP to cast the deciding vote. It would be suicide for the Republicans to approve ANY nominee.
The “siege” was staged.
The Fence comes down “After there’s no Threat”
1. The Senate moves to Eliminate the Filibuster.
Could be a Threat.
2. Congress moves to Pack the Court
Might be a Threat.
3. Congress moves to add DC and Puerto Rico as States.
This could threaten them.
4. They pass HR 1 and the new Court Upholds it.
More Threats.
The list goes on and on.
A couple of years ago, that scenario would have seemed ... well, it would have seemed like deranged ravings. Now, it just seems plausible.
I think everything is possible except number ten. Hillary can’t initiate a reign of terror she’s been on one for quiet some time now.
If there’s no credible threat then send the Guard home too.
Why would Nancy do step (7)—appointing Hillary as VP— given the obvious risk?
