Less Than a Year After United Auto Workers Union Endorsed Biden, It Gets the First Nasty Surprise of His Presidency

How did they not see this coming?

United Auto Workers slammed Ford Motor Company’s plan to move construction of a new plant to Mexico rather than keep it in Ohio in a letter to the automaker Friday.

“We 100% reject the company’s decision to put corporate greed and more potential profits over American jobs and the future of our members. We expect the company to honor its contractual commitments to this membership and when it fails to do so we will take action,” Gerald Kariem, vice president of the union’s Ford sector, said in the letter. “We are intensely exploring our options at this time.”

The old adage of “When you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.” seems appropriate here.

Add the plumbing and pipe fitting union to the remorseful. They lost the Keystone pipeline.

Good

They need to feel pain.

I hope that they have some Republican friends/relatives who’ll tell them that they tried to advise them that this would happen. I know it’s immature to say, “I told you so.” Still, if these things are not pointed out to them, how will they ever learn anything?

The UAW also rigged the Michigan Senate Election for Gary Peters - the UAW was on the talk shows before the election telling voters that John James had zero chance of winning.

The plant will stay open - making trucks. But the electric vehicle planned there will be built in Mexico instead.

So it's Ford's fault (according to the Union). This exercise always produces the same results yet the idiots keep replicating the scenario. The company will always do what's best for its bottom line. It's called survival.

They did The Steal

Mike Podhorzer works for AFL-CIO

When their factories go to Mexico and the illegals come in to take the remaining jobs, what then? Unionize the Mexicans?

More jobs will simply move there.

Real smart, Union goons. Guess there’s a reason they call you that.

Somehow I am not agree with the Unions for their decision to support Biden. Mostly, I feel that their support made absolutely no difference because actually manufacturing union members have dwindled so much in America that politically they are small potatoes now. Voter fraud won the election for Joe Biden. Biden may pay lip service to the ‘Unions’ but he will continue (like every democrat in the last 30 years) to watch US manufacturing jobs leave the United States.

Union voice, outside of Government Unions, are essentially a non-voice. The support for Democrats has led to the loss of the US manufacturing jobs, manufacturing capability, and overall quality of life and US ability to protect itself. The trade unions just haven’t really figured it out, and they continue to destroy everything, including themselves, because of their relationship with the Democrats.

The real enemy of the Unions isn’t corporate CEO’s anymore. The real enemy of the Unions is 1) Lack of vision on whom supports manufacturing and jobs in the US. 2)Lack of vision onto tech industries, like Apple, Google, Twitter, Amazon, and why all of those programmers and employees aren’t unionized. 3) Complete ideological blindness to the growing socialist state, and it’s drain upon their own members income and quality of life.

Race baiting, economic group fracturing, and over reaching government hasn’t done a thing for Unions. You can’t have blue collar unions without blue collar jobs, and yet the Union heads have paired with those who have destroyed that.

If Unions want to help themselves and the United States, they need to protect manufacturing here in America. They need to get that manufacturing back, and they need to make it hard for other nations to use slave labor and dump products on the US market. They need to be pro-Trump like policies, but since they are connected at the hip with the Democrats they can’t save themselves or the nation.

When I hear the libtards I work with complaining about higher prices, taxes, what ever, I just tell them “you should be ecstatic, this is what you voted for.”

The UAW is smart enough to know that the Republicans aren’t their friends, either. At this point they have probably resigned themselves to the same pathetic existence you see with so many of these old private-sector unions ... sitting around whining about getting screwed by corporate management, while throwing their political support behind the candidates who will give them the biggest welfare checks.

My go to reply when talking with liberals and leftists whenever one of these bad news stories comes up in conversation is:

“But you voted for this.”

Rising gas prices? “But you voted for the rising gas prices.”

Rising food prices? “You voted for more expensive food.”

Lost jobs? “You voted for less jobs.”

An auto plant moving south of the border? “That’s what you voted for!”

Yes, I know I’m wasting my time inasmuch as I am aware that democrats have very little comprehension of cause and effect.

Bdcause the end result is the cradle to grave socialist state. Getting paid not to work? What's not to like?
