"Feinstein’s ban would allow current owners of “assault weapons” to retain possession of them, but if the gun is transferred, a person must undergo an FBI background check before receiving the firearm."

That's exactly the kind of ban that might pass the Senate and hold up without being stopped by the Supreme Court. It would be close.

We should have promoted more positive mindedness for the Georgia runoff elections and reviewed our own shortcomings in the president election. To improve our efforts and win next time is the answer. Never give up. Democrats want us to give up.

The web page has changed. You now have to hunt to find the listing on her web site.

“2nd Amendment: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.”

So if the DemocRATS try to confiscate guns, what the Governors of states that disagree with them ought to get local governments via police forces to get citizens to form well regulated Militias.

I notice that on the list of to be banned rifles there is also listed EXCLUDED FROM THE BAN rifles.

Sounds good to some of those who do not remember Charles Whitman, the Texas Tower shooter who killed 14 with his rifle and wounded 31, his main weapon was a Remington bolt action 6MM. He also stabbed others.

Let another equivalent of the Texas Tower shooting happen and they will be back for the bolt actions.

Thanks, easier to read now even if she is hiding it. I believe the first was her 2017, this looks to be her 2019 bill. Interesting to see what her 2021 bill lists. A lot of BS in the text in the second link.

bump stocks, which have been illegal since March 26, 2019.

It's sad to realize that Trump signed more gun control legislation than Obama did.

I still believe in the end the Democrats will consider any semiautomatic weapon to be an assault weapon. After they grab them, the next target will be any pistol or rifle with a cartridge size larger than a 22 csl. Then they will be last.

We know what Hitler did. We know what Stalin did. We know what Mao did. We know what Pol Pot did. We know what Castro did.

Don't let them take the guns. Use the guns for their intended purpose instead.

Why bother voting? Not much you can do against massive voter fraud orchestrated by dominion and Georgia's on Republican governor.

Either fix the voting or get ready to start shooting. There is no other way.

Assault weapons are not the problem. How many murders in Chicago, Baltimore, Memphis, Atlanta, or other major cities this year were committed with assault rifles versus handguns?

DiFi is way ahead of you. Lots of handguns ARE assault weapons under her bill. If you read the definitions, a semiauto handgun with a threaded barrel is an assault weapon. That would include the S&W Victory 22. It's a plinking .22 pistol but meets the definition of an assault weapon.

Also on the naughty list, a Ruger 10-22 carbine if it has an adjustable stock. Really, look it up. They only want to talk about weapons like AR 15's that would be suitable for militia service, but they want to ban a LOT of others.

“It’s been 17 years since the original Assault Weapons Ban expired, and the plague of gun violence continues to grow in this country.”

WRONG! Gun violence has continued to go down sine the early 1990s and murders using so-called assault weapons makes up less than 2% of all murders each year. This bill isn’t about stopping crime as it’s about disarming patriots.

None of my weapons have ever assaulted anyone. Until they do, I’m gonna keep ‘em.

“We know what Hitler did. We know what Stalin did. We know what Mao did. We know what Pol Pot did. We know what Castro did.”

That is why they don’t teach history in today’s education system. So young folks don’t resist but join in when the powers that be endorse socialism or communism to replace capitalism.
