Maybe they’ll ban it too since Eddy goes white faced.
I watched it because it was free. Waste of time. Should have read a book.
Further evidence that Hollywood ran out of original ideas in the 70’s.
It like watching The Brady Bunch grow elderly in a new sitcom..... “I know! Let’s put on a show!”...............
“...stale nostalgia bait”
Great (and accurate) characterization.
It’s on Amazon Prime. We started watching it last evening but only got about ten minutes into before agreeing it was not funny crap and stopped it. We found another movie on Prime instead.
I considered watching a Hollywood Entertainment Production, but then I look out back and see the weeds growing and the dog crap accumulating and I realize it will be more entertaining to clean it up.
I liked it. It was cool to see faces from the past.
Saw the first one once when it came out, found it mildly amusing, did not ever watch it again. I’ll pass on the new one.
It was bad but Wesley Snipes was great.
I like that Eddie is making movies again, but I would have thought they could have offered him a new character.
The studio is desperate for a Slam Dunk hit, coming out of the pandemic, but they don’t want to take many risks.
They probably bombarded Eddie with storms of money and finally wore his resistance down.
I’m in no hurry to see it, as I don’t expect anything new, but others may support it.
Not showing it in theaters may be a big mistake.
Nothing beats a huge, dark physical theater to put your problems on hold for the next two hours.
The first one was hilarious. Rarely do sequels ever match the original.
“Wipers!!!”
A similar Forrest Gump film is coming out soon.
Yuck
Did I really have to see the lead actress in her older version?
I think not.
I started to watch it and opted out. I’ll probably go back and
watch it at some point, but some things are better left as memories.
The original cannot be topped. From McDowell’s and Afro-Sheen to Randolph and Mortimer Duke reprise it’s a classic.
Sooooooo sick of seeing the promo ads for this! Totally irritating
Hollywood seems only capable of disappointment. The original was/is a classic. Why ruin the memory of something great. I found Bladerunner 2049 very much in the vein. I know some liked it and I have watched it 3 or 4 times to try and find some enjoyment (and there is some there) but it is not in the same universe as the original
I get netflix free through my cell phone. I still won’t watch it. Lots of reading and I’m teaching myself guitar. It makes me wonder how much talent has been wasted in the age of TV and social media. I remember as a kid all my elders played instruments.
Hey, the original wasn't that good.
Amd Arsenio Hall? Has anyone been missing Arsenio Hall?
Eddie Murphy.... After Trading Places and 48 HRS what the heck happened to him?!
Any Woke-scolds out there complaining about the lack of caucasians in the movie?
The only thing I want to see in a theater is Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

Unfortunately, the release keeps getting pushed back. Now it is November 11, 2021.
