China has UPPER HAND if war breaks out with USA - ‘Extremely challenging' for US military
https://www.msn.com ^ | 3/5/2021 | Simon Osborne

Posted on 03/05/2021 11:33:32 AM PST by RomanSoldier19

Neither side has the appetite for all-out war but experts fear their intense strategic competition in which both conduct carefully calculated tests of the other's resolve could spill over into violent confrontation. And US military expert Lyle Goldstein warned there was a solid chance the US could lose the first fight with the People's Liberation Army in the event of a full-on conflict.

Prof Goldstein from the Naval War College's China Maritime Studies Institute in Newport, Rhode Island, told Newsweek: "It is very plausible to say there is no guarantee of victory in the first phases."

He said scenarios for such a confrontation varied substantially but warned all "are extremely challenging" for US forces.

He said: "I think China now has adequate forces, including air, missile, electronic warfare, spec ops, naval, undersea and nuclear to likely prevail in the first phase and perhaps in subsequent phases too."

He said weaponry had a "quite important" role but said China would gain the upper hand because of its favourable geography, greater will and the willingness to strike first."

MSN couldn’t be more pleased to deliver this news, true or not.

They lie about everything else.

Wonder how hard they had to look to find someone with these
views.

This should come as no surprise to anybody at all. Just consider who Beijing supported to lead our military and Department of Defense. The Usurper who is occupying space in our White House has his marching orders and will gladly carry them out.

The release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology has now killed millions of people. And yet no one will open their mouths. The active cover-up by WHO of what happened is the most disgusting.

Look, if Biden and his handlers get their way, the US military will outnumber Chinese military, by far, in the number of members who are FLAMING and or TRANSGENDER. Chinese soldiers will flee at the sight. /sarc

China states it won’t lose one inch of ancestral lands.

Would that be Mongolian and Tibetan ancestral lands?

Do you remember the joy in Walter Conkrite’s eyes when he declared the war in Vietnam was lost?

Not a concern, we spend 5 times as much on our military as China spends on theirs. Therefore we CANNOT be beaten by them, or anyone else.

Don’t believe this crap, the numbers PROVE them wrong.

Maybe we should be pro-active and surrender now. Or, have we already done that?

WHYY-PBS reported U of Pennsylvania made a $100 million contribution to the Phila School District.
Is the U of Penn's 100 mill donation prohibited Chinese payoffs?
Is Penn getting rid of evidence to save Biden's sorry ***?
WHYY.com / / FR Posted on 12/6/2020 by Kid Shelleen

Two weeks after the U of Pennsylvania made a gargantuan $100 million contribution to the School District of Philadelphia, it’s unlikely the cash infusion will inspire copycat donations from major higher education peers in the city. When Ivy League Penn made its announcement, City Council member Helen Gym and others voiced hope that other universities with large landholdings, like Temple or Drexel, might also pony up. “I certainly hope that some of our strongest civic institutions can see beyond their individual acts of charity and generosity,” “When universities and our major nonprofits, who have long been invested in education and public health, unite on a mission to invest in our schools, we send a clear message to Harrisburg and to Washington, D.C. that we are invested in our future.” (Excerpt) Read more at whyy.org …

Biden Center Under Investigation for Illegal Donations From China
DB Daily Update | David Blackmon / FR Posted on 5/25/2020, 9:19:56 AM by EyesOfTX

If the label says “Biden,” it was definitely influenced by China. – John Solomon at JustTheNews.com is reporting that The National Legal and Policy Center has asked the U.S. Department of Education to investigate its findings that the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) has over the past several years accepted more than $22 million in anonymous China-originated donations to its Biden Center and failed to properly disclose the contributions.

From John Solomon’s report: The complaint, filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, says that over the past three years, the university has (admitted to accepting around) $22 million in anonymous funding from Chinese sources. That’s out of a total of more than $70 million from Chinese donors during that time, the NLPC said. Those significant funds, including the anonymous amounts, rolled in after the Biden Center was announced in early 2017 and launched in February 2018. The center is located in downtown Washington, D.C. Federal records show that the University of Pennsylvania has received significant donations from Communist China since the opening of the Biden Center.

One 2018 donation alone totals $14.5 million; it is listed as “anonymous” in federal records. The NLPC alleges the university may have violated federal law in accepting those anonymous monetary donations from Communist China. The Higher Education A ct mandates schools report the national origins of any donations above $250,000 although not necessarily the individual names of donors themselves. [End]

As an ex-navy once serving in that area, I do not doubt, if unconstrained by traitorous politicos, beijing, china could be bombed into the stone age within hours by the United States military.

"Maybe we should be pro-active and surrender now. Or, have we already done that?"

I immediately detected that is exactly the narrative seed they are trying to plant. They want the American people to believe we could not win in a war with china so it would be far better to just surrender.

Sorry but I can read these people like a book.

We already spend enough on the military if we can beat the Chinese we might as well just scrap the entire thing.

I think the US should surrender immediately and get it over with. If the US Navy goes head to head with the Chinese, expect the US will have to pay China back after we sink all of their major navas assets in the first week. Imagine how much that will cost us as Joe negotiates with China to "do the right thing."

I assume that was sarcasm. We’re at the point now of Japan vs. the US in 1941 but reversed: Either we win quick or we get ground down by the far superior manufacturing capabilities of China, not to mention the imbalance in population and particularly population of science/engineering personnel. Prejudices based on the world of a generation ago no longer apply.
