I wish I could be around in a 100 years when these “climate change” alarmists are spoken of in the same way as the alchemists are today.
Their products are trash
Really reduce your footprint by goin out of business.
I’m pre diabetic, I don’t buy their stuff. :)
I’d rather the private sector do this then the government force them too.
I got $10 to bet that the town of Hershey FREEZES TO DEATH this coming winter from unseasonably Cold Weather as a result of Man Made Global Warming.
The great thing about the artisanal trend in food is that there are scores of small, independent, often local, providers, who make high quality products.
I buy my beer from a local micro-brewery. The first time I went there, he gave me a tour of his small factory. He was so proud of his creation, he’s got great products, and I didn't get a social justice lecture either.
I don’t eat chocolate, but I’m sure the same exists near you.
This is protection payoff to keep the leftists at bay. I’m sure there’s been talk by leftist to boycott Hersey because it contributes to making little kids fat.
The @#$& lefttards are going to ruin CHOCOLATE.
Sociopaths rise to the top—and that includes the executive suite of large corporations.
If it ends up costing the company money and reducing the quality of the chocolate, I think the shareholders might disagree with Ms. Buck.
Make chocolate. Sell chocolate. Shut up about anything that isn’t chocolate.
Hershey has a specific policy directed to deforestation because their demand for chocolate causes farmers in Africa to expand their cocoa tree plantations.
"Between 2013 and 2019, Hershey distributed more than 7.4 million cocoa trees and 921,000 shade trees to promote biodiversity, food security and income diversification."
Hershey should be working hard to reduce the environmental damage that large scale cocoa tree farming creates. The real reason they distributed 7.4 million cocoa trees is to get more raw materials to make chocolate bars. The rest of the sentence is just an attempt to make what they are doing look better.
Global warming at my house.
We experienced the most “snow on the ground” (all at one time) in 40 years! (4 feet)
The ground this year NEVER froze.
Is that global warming or cooling? I’m confused. /s
Let me guess. They are going to accomplish this by making the candy bars smaller and raising prices.
By moving more production to Mexico? Just like Kellogg and Nabisco!
Bold goal for the next CEO.
But DAMN!
They have discovered chocolate is rayciss.
Could be good for business. Could be BAD for business.
Those lousy MFs at Hershey’s need to pay BILLIONS in reparations.
Gimme mine NOW. /s
