Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA): If GOP Continues to ‘Idolize’ Trump, We Will Lose
Breitbart ^ | February 28, 2021 | Pam Key

Posted on 02/28/2021 8:05:22 AM PST by White Lives Matter

Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that if the Republican Party continued to “idolize” former President Donald Trump, they would lose elections.

Cassidy said, “We’ve got to win in two years. We’ve got to win in four years. If we do that, we’ll do that by speaking to those issues important to the American people, and there’s a lot of issues important to them right now, not by putting one person on a pedestal and making that one person our focal point. If we speak to those issues, to those families, to those individuals, we win. That’s where our focus should be.”

He continued, “CPAC is not the entirety of the Republican party. That’s number one. Number two, political organizations and campaigns are about winning. Over the last four years, we lost the House of Representatives, the Senate and the presidency. That has not happened in a single four years under a president since Herbert Hoover. If we plan to win in 2022 and 2024, we have to listen to the voters. Not just those who really like President Trump, but also those who perhaps are less sure. If we do, if we speak to the voters who are less sure who went from President Trump to President Biden, we win. If we don’t, we lose. That is a reality that we have to confront.”

Does he realize the warfare that is taking place in the USA? The weapon of choice is the activist media. They are an arm of the Democrat Socialist party. Their warfare was demonstrated in the stolen election. They demonized Trump! Their speech was their weapon that spewed lie upon lie. When their teleprompters were loaded each waking hour it could not have been more effective than an army that fired its weapons at an enemy! Trump was and is not a conservative idol. He is a VOICE! He represents the voice of the freedom loving Americans! The senator is worshiping his own idols that are the national propagandist media outlets. He is following their teachings and practices! He is bowing to their words and doctrines that demand everyone reject Trump based upon their spewed lies. Wake up senator!!

Way more than that.
Almost ALL of the GOP Senators are nothing more than Assistant Democrats.

I voted for Donald Trump twice and don’t consider him a Diety.

Cassidy should reflect upon any people he holds in too high esteem from Supreme Court Justices to Senate Leaders whatever instead of throwing his stones at the people who supported Trump and then voted to send him to the Senate with Trump as the leader of the GOP.

—————————————————————

A poll conducted by Echelon has found that while Republican voters are concerned with issues such as illegal immigration, lack of police resources, and high taxes, Democrat voters’ top concerns are supporters of President Trump, racism, and discrimination against LGBTQ people.

https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3938279/posts

I know it’s a poll. But it does show the differences in ideology between supporters of the two parties. One ideology is based in reality. The other is based in the fantasies they’ve been brainwashed into thinking exist by their professors and fellow progressives.

But I’ll capitalize it so the folks in the back can here me.....

At this particular time in the United States of America the ONLY issue is.... VOTER FRAUD and MAIL IN VOTING. Nothing else matters. Without solving that problem, one by one the Left will win whatever election they want. Whenever they want.

Evidence continues to come out that the event of 06Jan were carefully planned and executed by ANTIFA, et al.

BTW, I read that Cassidy was a long time Democrat that changed sides but donated to lots of Dems over the years. True? If so, I have a hard time believing he’s the standard bearer for Conservative principles.

Two things I would point out in response to that post:

1. What this guy doesn't grasp is that a lot of people voted for Donald Trump in 2016 because they completely lost faith in ALL politicians. He's basically nothing more than a "Screw you!" candidate for a lot of us.

2. "Conservative principles" went out the window for the Republican Party years ago. The evidence for it is that Donald Trump governed as the most conservative president of my lifetime ... and the GOP undermined him every step of the way. There is nothing "conservative" about a political agenda that includes massive government spending, open borders, and endless wars all over the globe.

he’s precisely right. conservatism is about conservative principles. it isn’t about one guy.

some of the MAGA people are engaged in a personality cult.

Perhaps a few. Most of those 80 million voters recognize that he was chosen because he claimed he would pursue those principles. When he actually fought for them, we were stunned that someone actually had the guts to fight. He seems to be nearly alone in that category. That is why we are so insistent. Just tired of the craven politicians that are afraid to fight the media because they risk their sinecure - personified by Mr. Cassidy.

History: We completely lost our conservative voices the day the Clintons hit D.C. It was Free Republic that first gave us a conservative voice and we used it well. Still we had no single voice with enough courage and intelligence to make our voices heard, and we got the African. So we tried the Tea Part to make our voices heard and no one in D.C. or the media would acknowledge our tens of thousands of patriots. When Trump burst on the scene he hardly seemed to be much of a voice for conservative values. How wrong we were. BOOM! He came out fighting and we heard our voice coming out of his mouth. Conservative America Had a VOICE! It’s not that we love Trump, it’s that he made them listen and scared the pants off them. THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP!

Yup......

Curious to know how many people could recognize him if he walked into a restaurant.

When the Harris economic and environmental regulations start dropping and the oil industry starts to tank, which will have a disastrous effect on Louisiana, Cassidy can speak to the issues to his constituents about the issues. I’m sure it’ll go over well.

I did a quick search of GOP Senators running or retiring in 2022.
The Senators retiring like Toomey and Burr are running their
mouths out the door.
The only Senator that is running and running her mouth
is Lisa Murkowski.
The other ones running don’t dare run their mouth.
Cassidy is not up in 2022.
How convenient of the ones not running or retiring to be running
their mouths.

If Trump would have had bad policies, he would not have a following. He does because he has stood for the people and not a political party. Cassidy is precisely the type republican that is the embodiment of the jealous loser.

Conservatism is not represented by the republican party. They are phonies and elite globalists that care nothing for the American people.
