FULL TEXT: Trump responds after Supreme Court orders release of tax returns to NY prosecutor
Breaking 911 ^ | 02/22/2021 | T. Grant Benson

On Monday, the Supreme Court ordered former President Donald Trump’s accountants to releases financial and tax records to prosecutors in New York.

The former president responded in a lengthy statement, calling the ruling “a continuation of the greatest political Witch Hunt in the history of our Country.”

FULL TEXT: ‘Statement on the Continuing Political Persecution of President Donald J. Trump’

This investigation is a continuation of the greatest political Witch Hunt in the history of our Country, whether it was the never ending $32 million Mueller hoax, which already investigated everything that could possibly be investigated, “Russia Russia Russia,” where there was a finding of “No Collusion,” or two ridiculous “Crazy Nancy” inspired impeachment attempts where I was found NOT GUILTY. It just never ends!

So now, for more than two years, New York City has been looking at almost every transaction I’ve ever done, including seeking tax returns which were done by among the biggest and most prestigious law and accounting firms in the U.S. The Tea Party was treated far better by the IRS than Donald Trump. The Supreme Court never should have let this “fishing expedition” happen, but they did. This is something which has never happened to a President before, it is all Democrat-inspired in a totally Democrat location, New York City and State, completely controlled and dominated by a heavily reported enemy of mine, Governor Andrew Cuomo. These are attacks by Democrats willing to do anything to stop the almost 75 million people (the most votes, by far, ever gotten by a sitting president) who voted for me in the election—an election which many people, and experts, feel that I won. I agree!

The new phenomenon of “headhunting” prosecutors and AGs—who try to take down their political opponents using the law as a weapon—is a threat to the very foundation of our liberty. That’s what is done in third world countries. Even worse are those who run for prosecutorial or attorney general offices in far-left states and jurisdictions pledging to take out a political opponent. That’s fascism, not justice—and that is exactly what they are trying to do with respect to me, except that the people of our Country won’t stand for it.

In the meantime, murders and violent crime are up in New York City by record numbers, and nothing is done about it. Our elected officials don’t care. All they focus on is the persecution of President Donald J. Trump.

I will fight on, just as I have, for the last five years (even before I was successfully elected), despite all of the election crimes that were committed against me. We will win!

It seems like retribution, because they don’t like trump & because tax reform has hurt their bottom line as well.

So glad we fought for party boy Kavanaugh, and Amy conehead Barrett.

These two disgust me to the point I've lost all faith in justice. There is no such thing.

Conceptually it’s quite easy. You get a dummy buyer...a shell corporation in Panama, let’s say...to put up $1 million (refunded under the table by you) for a 10% interest.

Voilà! Your property is now worth $10 million!

I agree. One of the greatest failures of his presidency was NOT declaring martial law prior to Jan 6.

"They will go down in history to what they are turning this country into!"

I'm the last one in my family. I'll be 74 in August. Nobody lived past 74, and most died before 70, so I'm living on borrowed time, and am hopeful I'll be dead before the country goes full commie culture.

I have never in my life, as an American, seen the full weight of the entire country’s legal machinery deployed against one man, especially a former president. This in NO WAY resembles the America I was born in.

The people in DC are incompetent - they keep their jobs because they stick together. That's the key in understanding this insanity.

Trump was and is a threat to their 'respect' and job security. Remember the surprise when Trump ran against 17 seasoned 'respected' Republicans and beat them at their own game? A 'game' Trump had NEVER played.

Trump WOWED the country when he won... but maybe it's wasn't so much his excellence (which is substantial) as much as it was their incompetence. Here's the deal. What if Trump is actually one of thousands of competent business people in the private sector who could win against the whole 'insider' field in DC?

What if the real focus should be on what losers we've elected AND appointed to high positions. In DC AOC stands out. In a real company she'd be a nobody in a nothing job - or she'd be fired.

Same with the hotheads at the top of the FBI and CIA and DOJ... tell me if Brennan could get ANY job outside of progressive media (thug arm of the democrat party) and government work. Hell no... that would never happen.

The fact is once Trump became a private citizen, there was no legal reason for his accounting firm to withhold his tax returns. IRS regulations specifically permit an accounting firm to produce clients' tax returns in response to grand jury subpoenas. Nothing the Supremes can do about that.

Of course, that doesn't change the fact Trump is being subjected to lawfare by a bunch of Trumphaters.

Hey pubes, its open season on Democrat tax cheats now.

Republicans forever fail to recognize when you can give as good as you get. I am sure it's just because they are lazy and uniparty cuckolds.

I feel exactly the same. For a brief four years it seemed we might survive as a nation.

Sorry Donald, but you failed miserably to drain the swamp. You Relied on the deep state to go after the deep state. You should have just exposed it all to the American people. Now we are all going down.

The SC is completely corrupt as is the DOJ, FBI, IRS, ATF, DHS, US Congress, Federal Courts, Local Courts, most state governments, all Democrat leaders, most Republican leaders, election official’s in about 10-12 states.

Oh, and Durham the SP, very, very corrupt.

Did I leave out anyone?

Trump wasn’t a CEO who could hire anyone he wanted.

**************************************

I’m tired of hearing that. It’s politics. He had to find some way to get someone competent into at least some of his positions. But everyone he picked sucked. Again you literally could have picked out of a phone book and done better than him. At some point he has to accept responsibility or at least we have to acknowledge that he screwed up royally with every significant position the Supreme Court being the worst and the one we and our offspring will pay dearly for for generations to come. If we’re still a country.

Using the tax code and IRS as weapons against U.S. citizens. We should all be very afraid. One more reason for a flat tax, fair tax or ANYTHING that is better than what we have.

The only way to get rid of it will be Civil war.

Hey, please don’t be so discouraged. You have your own life; its length is not dictated by your ancestors.

Better food, medical care, and I’m sure you’re eating well and exercising, even if just walking!

Plus, we need you around here!!!

Hi.

Some of my “exploits” regarding the IRS I have posted here (twice) on FR.

From experience, if you piss someone off in state or federal government, they will come after you wether you are guilty or not.

I/we have won each time, but it costs us money and time.

Citizen Trump will win at great time and expense.
