I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
I heard RUSH a couple of times when he was in Sacramento and shortly after that he got syndicated out of New York. Local radio station KINS picked him up and I started advertising my small business on his show to support him and when he started doing his “RUSH to Excellence” 9 or 10 small businesses signed up to bring him to Eureka to speak at a local auditorium to a packed house TWICE. He flew the “The Red Eye Special” out of New York on Friday nights to Sacramento and private aircraft flew him to the north coast for his shows. Sponsors got the have a 30 minute private session with him before his talk. I got the feeling he was a introvert away from the Golden EiB Microphone at that time...

we just celebrated our 62nd wedding anniversary on Valentine's Day. He has Parkinson's and severe dementia now. I hold on to him each day I can and trust in God.

I haven’t felt this sad in a long time. I will miss Rush dearly. Thank you Rush.
I remember listening to him on WMAL 630 AM when he first was on the air in the DC area, 30 some years ago. Spent many hours listening to him, will be greatly missed. RIP

It is. This hit me hard. But then February is a bad month for my family. We lost my dad in February 6 years ago. My father-in-law in February 2 years ago. My only brother-in-law in February several years ago, and my favorite uncle in February. So this hit even harder.
God Bless Rush. He was a true Warrior...for Conservatism, Patriotism, this Country and for God. He cannot and will not be replaced.
Wasn’t there a congresscritter, about 10-15 years ago, that wished he would “die from cancer”? Her (I think it was a her) wish came true, and I bet she is celebrating (sick humans that they are).

I actually bought an Abyssian cat not long after Rush got her. Our “Zoey” lived with us for 12 wonderful years.

I’d love to hear the last show Rush did before Christmas, to hear again what he said and then to hear Mannheim Steamroller’s Silent Night. Wish someone could post a link to that show.
I was afraid then it would be his last show, but he made it back after the first of the year. Over the past two weeks, was hoping he’d make it one more time. Sadly, t’was not to be.
Mine is the first time I heard Rush on the radio... NEVER will forget it.
