I heard RUSH a couple of times when he was in Sacramento and shortly after that he got syndicated out of New York. Local radio station KINS picked him up and I started advertising my small business on his show to support him and when he started doing his “RUSH to Excellence” 9 or 10 small businesses signed up to bring him to Eureka to speak at a local auditorium to a packed house TWICE. He flew the “The Red Eye Special” out of New York on Friday nights to Sacramento and private aircraft flew him to the north coast for his shows. Sponsors got the have a 30 minute private session with him before his talk. I got the feeling he was a introvert away from the Golden EiB Microphone at that time...
