I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
I’m listening to him right now and enjoying hearing his voice....
I am running some of his remarks and sound effects like the chain saw ripping when he was shredding the green B$! through my old gray head and laughing.
I can believe he’s gone. Like the sun now not going to be there every day when you expect it. Very sad. A great Patriot and a great soul. RIP RUSH!
In the early years many restaurants and coffee shops set up “Rush rooms”, a bagel shop in Poughkeepsie, NY had one. I compiled lists of stations that carried his show that I put in our cars for when we went on road trips. We gotta remember when G-D closes one door he opens another
We’ve lost a great conservative voice. Rush will always hold a piece of my heart.

I was thinking something on a par with a Presidential library.. Rush was a Patriot who gave hope and joy to America.. and the world.
A year later I got through to Bo Snerdley and ended up talking to Rush on his show. I've still got the audio cassette of that. Going to treasure it forever.

rush, and now to hear this. But he is now with our Lord and out of all suffering. May God give peace and comfort to Rush’s family and friends.
It’s good to know I’m not the only one who heard that. It was like a quick catch in his voice, a pitch of shock, yes? I wondered if he could hold it togethe, and he went into another break quickly. I just knew.
God bless Rush, God help our Nation and our earth.
I once stopped at a restaurant in Brunswick, Ohio that had a Rush room. First found Rush during the Rodney King riots. I even tried Snapple (made from the Best Stuff on Earth) and so enjoyed Paul Shanklin’s parodies on his show. I even bought a Sleep Number bed on his recommendation. I bet even Apple is sad he won’t be raving about their products anymore. I loved his brief attempt at TV, his facial expressions while playing something on TV were hysterical. I bought and read and still have his two books and was one of the early subscribers to the Limbaugh Letter. Somewhere I have that poster where he is shining a light and the liberals are all dressed like Rats. Tried to call many times and just never got through. When I lived in Cleveland I so wanted to say “Burning River dittoes” to him. He lived a charmed life and brought joy to so many of us. As the war amps up in our country, we sadly won’t be able to tune in to hear his thoughts.
So sad that his voice is gone now.
I started listening to him shortly after 60 Minutes did a segment on him in the very early 1990s. I was still in high school. After that 60 minutes segment aired, I quickly discovered which local radio station carried his show - I was hooked. I listened to his show all through my undergrad years, and through grad school. I didn’t listen to him as much in the last few years (that is no reflection
on him, but my work environment).
I looked forward to his show, because it was more than just news, but three hours of good humour. I always got a smile on my face when his bumper music started the show. I have a lot of good memories of walking across campus and listening to his show through the headphones on my Walkman-style radio.
Fare thee well, Rush, you are greatly missed.

Sometimes, I had to pull over to the side of the road when driving to listen and laugh.
I never listened to Rush during “Rush” hour traffic.
With his terminal cancer diagnosis, I had hoped Rush would make it to witness President Trump’s reelection victory and being sworn in for his second term. When that didn’t happen, I was especially saddened for him, to spend his remaining days knowing in which direction the country he so loved would now be headed.
Rest in Peace dear Rush. May God bless and be with you, Catherine, and all the Limbaugh Family.
When I was in high school, I actually had his book “They Way Things Ought to Be” on my Christmas List. I still have that book, and I think it may be time to take it off the shelf and re-read it. I devoured that book in high school.
