you sure thats not uncle jamima?
Makes no sense to me. Why take credit for a good product away from Aunt Jemima? Indeed, doing so seems racist to me.
Well slap that Aunt Jemima in the face.....that’s not racist!
Why?
America is being completely Africanized and pandering to foolish negro sensibilities is the corporate rule
Now all the racists that wouldn’t buy the syrup because a Black Lady was on the label can now buy it.
They just opened up their brand to a whole new market of white supremacist racists.
But she was. The trademark came from the work of Nancy Green who performed as a salesperson and living trademark for the Davis Milling Company. Ms. Green was a talented sales person, and product demonstrator. It has been reported that her work at the Chicago World's Fair launched the sales of the brand.
At that moment she had the selling and influencing ability as great as that of any famous modern day product salesperson or influencer. Her work created an extremely valuable trademark and marketing campaign. Her use of a trade name in her sales work is no different than the way performers today use stage names, like Prince or Jay-Z.
I always like it when they make food that’s “digestible.” Saves a lot of time and trouble.
The Oyster Union is sure to protest in 1, 2, 3...for cultural appropriation of their products.
Pepsi is for second and third class people
Reminds me of Log Cabin brand now.
Who needs boxed pancake mix? It's so easy to make 'em from scratch and there are many different recipes for delicious pancakes and waffles. My fresh-off-the-waffle-iron Belgian waffles would amaze you. I top them with a spare drizzle of BJ's organic maple syrup, which originates in the U.S. and Canada and is delicious as well as a fantastic bargain.
That would make a good title for this PC madness of eliminating corporate minority mascots.
“The lynching of Aunt Jemma”
As long as it doesn’t have Lemoron James in his jock strap on the box, I don’t care what it has on it.
I can’t understand how shareholders could stand for this company to just throw away a brand with almost complete penetration and recognition.
It’s like burning down a factory just for the hell of it.
Oh, really?
So the left isn’t just cancelling a fictitious icon of a successful black chef (as I thought), but of a real black woman who worked hard for success?
That’s even more despicable.
Instead of cancelling her to appease the left, the company should be highlighting her real world achievements.
Try:
2 cups flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
Sift these together
Mix in:
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups buttermilk
Which word is bad?
Aunt?
Jemima?
I’m just so confused.
I can’t keep up with all the bad things.
Exactly how is being a good cook racist?
