If you like your checks from the government, you can keep your checks from the government — and on a monthly basis, provided you have children.
That’s, at least if Democrats get their way. According to a report in Saturday’s Washington Post, senior Democrats are looking to craft legislation that would give tax credits of up to $3,600 per year per child.
One plan being discussed — modeled on coronavirus stimulus payments — would involve the IRS sending a $300 check every month to parents for children under the age of 6, with $250 checks being disbursed for every child to between the ages of 6 and 17.
Put together, that would be $3,600 for each young child and $3,000 for each older one. And though the initial measure would be temporary, the goal is to make such payments permanent, according to the report.
“The current proposal calls only for the expanded benefit to be enacted for one year, after which Democrats widely hope political pressure will force Congress to extend them,” The Post’s Jeff Stein reported.
“The benefit would be phased out for affluent Americans, though the precise income level has not been determined.”
This wouldn’t necessarily work exactly like the stimulus checks — in part because Democrats want to make this a permanent recurring payment for parents. However, it would be similar in that it would be an automatic payment from the IRS to families.
At present, the Child Tax Credit stands at $2,000 per year for every child under 17. Biden has promised to expand this in his $1.9 trillion relief package to the levels proposed by Democratic legislators and making the amount of the credit fully refundable, according to CNBC — meaning families could claim the full amount no matter what their tax liability was.

Back in the Soviet Union, there was a tax on childlessness.
I think principled conservatives should return the check with a sternly worded letter addressed to other principled conservatives who live and work in the Swamp.
No one working except the tax slaves.
The rest, including republicans, sit on their fat asses and DO NOTHING but take bribes and sell drugs.
These are the SAME people who told us NOT to have children in the 1970’s because “OVERPOPULATION”.
NOW they want kids. Know why?
Cuz they ain’t white. Back when they were all channeling Ehrlich, what they really meant was “Kill Whitey!”.
But that won’t be the case when they’re subsidizing the children of Mexico, the Carribbean and Africa.
But it mostly worked! 60 million aborted American kids later, they need a replacement army.
Sounds to me like they’re planning to fk this country for the long term. Trump built it up big time in four years. I wonder how long it will take them to destroy the economy, all the jobs created, all the social gains, all the new opportunities created for non-whites AND whites. We are so screwed.

Well, it would theoretically help reduce the incentive to abort. But on the other hand, it will incentivize sloth while doing so. Since we know Democrats are pro-abortion, and anti-life, we know that increasing the population of native born kids across the board is not the goal. What it really is, is a cash infusion for the Democrats’ now most reliable base voters, Palestinian and Somali muslims, and hispanics.
As long as the printing presses keep printing money,

then followed by 'stagflation', and an economy going nowhere.

A Banana Republic within two and a half decades, but, it is a "Socialists Paradise" if you ask the "elites", but for the rest of the population, it's a poverty 'hell on earth'.

Always keep in mind that the gov’t produces nothing. All it can do is redirect resources from one use to a different use. I have to pay taxes (i.e., redirect away from me) and the gov’t gives it away (i.e., redirects it) in such a manner as to keep their jobs and get bribes under the table.
When everybody is a millionaire, everything costs a million dollars.
I'm not holding out much hope for this country's future anyway. Socialism and Capitalism don't go together well.
They never tell us how the heck are they going to pay for any of this.

She answered in a heartbeat, “Crisis”.
This was confirmation for my belief that ever since the 1940’s and more so since the 1960’s, that our Government is doing everything they can to Remove All Potential Crisis from peoples lives.
