I can't access Gab, wanting to join....is there a reason?

Considering all that is going on, I would like to join Gab. I try to go to gab dot com, but it doesn't get me anywhere. I know it's gotten a ton of traffic in the last couple days, and would that be the reason -- simply, that it's being overwhelmed with so much traffic? Sorry that my internet knowledge is limited!! Maybe others have the same question, too.

Their servers can’t handle all the new traffic. I’ve been trying all day to set up an account. They got over 100,000 new subscribers today.

My understanding is that they’ve had a 725% increase in traffic, and are upgrading on the fly as fast as possible. Keep trying! Ive been trying for the past four hours to log in. :)

They have literally millions more hits, daily. They are scaling up as fast as they can. They are not hosted on cloud based services like Amazon. They host themselves. All their infrastructure. That means servers have to be stood up. Load balancers. Routing. Etc.
Have patience.

GAB working fine for me....but I am not trying to sign-up....(already had an account)...the sign-up server may be a separate/impacted server.

They're just getting slammed with new subscribers.
