Supporters of Trump’s Electoral College stunt may be expelled from Congress under planned resolution

Republican legislators who challenged Joe Biden’s electoral college victory may be expelled from Congress under a planned resolution.

Newly elected Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) on Wednesday revealed the draft proposal shortly after Trump supporters broke into the Capitol, causing chaos and destruction. The crowd delayed the counting of Biden’s election victory under the baseless pretext that the election was “stolen,” as President Donald Trump has often repeated.

“I believe the Republican members of Congress who have incited this domestic terror attack through their attempts to overturn the election must face consequences,” Bush said in a statement. “They have broken their sacred Oath of Office.”

Is she some kind of fortune teller?

Go to the article and look at the date on her proposed resolution. It is dated 1/5/2021, the day before the rally.

[[Why are these Nazis so proud of themselves for such vile behavior?

They brag about their lawlessness and abuse of civil rights?]]

they are followers of their Father, The Evil One- Their deeds are wicked, and they boast of their wickedness because they are blinded by the Wicked One Himself

Evil has definitely gained the upper hand very quickly in this nation. The left are hell bent on turning this country into a socialist hell hole, where their corrupt party wields all the power, and the opposition is neutered and impotent

Yes, now the left will get rid of anyone who said they believe that the 2020 election was fraudulent, which it was. There were numerous people who spoke out against the rigged election and now Pelosi and Schumer must destroy rhem along with Trump and anyone else who believes anything other than what Nancy Pelosi says. What a vindictive, vile person she is.
The 2020 election belongs to satan.

They perfected the art of stealing elections in broad daylight. GOP didn’t care about election integrity.

Nah, the GOP will ve permitted to win just enough elections to make them appear to be a viable alternative to the dems but not enough to ever really be that. This is the role they play. In so doing they lull us into a false sense that we have representation when we actually don't, and they prevent an actual opposition party ever exists.

There won't be as many but the ones who remain will get all the perks and graft and none of the responsibility of actually doing anything, a dream job for them.

(2) The GOP is likely to take over in 2022, and could use this precedent to expel Swalwell, Alcee Hastings and a host of others.

The GOP may not even exist by then, or at least be a viable party at that point.

I don’t have to assume she won’t. I know 100% that she won’t. What foolishness.

Definitely planned ahead of time by the politicians. They left it all wide open to create chaos.

People keep mentioning the Constitution or “constitutionality” as if it still exists.

Don’t know when...But history teaches it will happen. There is some question as to in what form the “spanking” will take shape. “Little” things have in history pushed a critical mass of people over the edge when there has been sufficient aggravation over enough time. For instance, something like outlawing the use of the words “mother” and “father” on the floor of the House.

They can’t be expelled. They were elected by their states.

Constitutional? Voting? Great comedian. You could work the nightclubs.

Since when did the Constitution mean anything to the democrats and what makes you think that we’re going to have any chance at an honest election in a very long time?

They wouldn’t be expelled because of the rally, but because of the way they voted. She was saying in advance that voting against Biden electors will get you expelled

Well, here we see what an actual war on democracy looks like. They want to remove duly elected representatives of the people because they followed entirely Constitutional recourses to demand debate over election fraud. One would be hard pressed to find a better example in modern America of trying to destroy democracy than a tyrannical move like this violating our system of government as revenge against legitimately elected political opponents.

Following the Constitution and laws is not violating oaths to the Constitution, but removing elected officials solely for political reasons definitely is. It is amazing how open the Dems have been in their aggressive moves toward full-scale oppression of dissent and the establishment of authoritarian one-party rule lately. At least they aren’t hiding it.
