While much of the nation was transfixed on the riot at the US Capitol, supporters of Donald Trump demonstrated in cities across the country, and in Olympia, Washington, protesters pushed into the governor's mansion property....Many of the protesters in Olympia wore Trump clothing, but also told KIRO they were there to complain about the state's pandemic restrictions...

...In Oregon, several hundred people demonstrated in front of the Capitol in Salem...n Atlanta, dozens of people stood across from the Capitol, many holding flags. In Denver, hundreds of people gathered outside the Colorado Capitol.

Authorities say a pro-Trump protest inside the Kansas State Capitol in Topeka was peaceful....

“I hope the protests grow.”

Looks like they awakened the sleeping giant...

Keep it going, intimidation and terrorism has worked well for the left. About time we gave it a try.

[ They also need discipline- protests need to police themselves. ]

Why would politicians need to fear the people with that attitude?

It just may be that this blatant steal of our rightful president's win and of the Republic itself, has roused a sleeping giant that the Left may come to regret disturbing.

You can only poke the sleeping bear so many times before it gets pissed and attacks back.

This may be the tipping point. The straw that broke the camel's back.

The left's criminal activity may just have gone too far.

The Jews were kicked around for thousands of years until they decided to fight back and take back their homeland.... Israel has been called bullies, terrorists and every other name in the book for understanding that they need to use force to survive and doing what needs to be done.. The fact is, the world never changes, whether it’s the 1700s or a 1000 BC or 2021...optics are meaningless when you are up against evil

They don’t seem to realize that we are NOT living in that same world now. We’re living in a very different one, and it calls for very different tactics.

I'd certainly like to know what those "different tactics" are against any enemy hell-bent on increasing the number of (liberal) states, increasing the number of (liberal) Supreme Court justices, increasing the number of (liberal $$$$) pet projects, eliminating all conservative voices via hi tech interference, increasing tax rates, increasing the likelihood of individual retirement accounts being raided and/or forced into investments the (liberal) government can control directly, and utilizing the FBI, CIA, IRS, WHO, UN, CCP, and anyone else who are not friends of patriots in this country.

Washington state ain’t the place to do it. There are provocateurs out there in the State of Washington. During a protest at Governor Inslee’s Bainbridge Island home last month leader Kelli Stewart at 3:02 talks about the people who came around wanting more “drastic action” to be taken in support of President Trump.

What happened today has been called Unnecessary by many. Unnecessary? Maybe. But I will tell you this, it was inevitable.

When the only man who would listen to us and talk with us is slandered, harassed and propagandized against for the last four years, as well as those who supported him and our cause. What recourse is there left?

My ancestor fought at Concord Bridge and Bunker hill-see Levi Temple at Concord Bridge. Why did he fight? He was most likely, at that time a Baptist deacon, decent from A Quaker-Mary Dyer-hanged Jun 1 1660 for preaching the Quaker faith at Boston. Why did he fight? Because he had no recourse the English Government wouldn't listen. Why did his ancestors sign the death Warrant for the execution of King Charles the First? Because he wouldn't listen. That is correct, there are TWO Temple names on that death warrant.

I submit that although they claim it to be unnecessary. It might not only be necessary, but it certainly was inevitable.

It is done. We now have a martyr. That beautiful young veteran is dead at the hands of those who are culpable-the elites in Washington DC

“I hope the protests grow.”

That’s pretty much assured, no matter what happens. This is not going to end well.

The tactic you are looking for is called “insurgency”. Same tactic used by Taliban for past 18 years. Look it up.

Their goal - which this story mentions sort of under its breath, hoping nobody will notice and get inspired - is to get rid of the covid restrictions and get their lives and freedoms back. The media has beeen terrified that people will finally say nope, not going to take it anymore.

And now they’re doing it.

I hope this keeps up and terrifies every tyrant governor or mayor in the nation.

Douchebag Inslee is contemplating a “complete lockdown” of Washington residents. No “essential workers” except police, fire, and 911. No one allowed outside. To flatten the f_cking curve.

Get ready Inslee. Make good with whatever pagan pos god you believe in.

Oooh. You said ‘hi tech’.

If you think you’re going to hide behind bushes and just shoot all of these ‘evildoers’, you are sadly mistaken.

But taking advantage of mass communication *In The Right Way* might actually help you.

(I used to think that FR was a good way of doing that. But after today, and seeing so many people trying to subvert it toward violence and insurrection, I’m no longer so sure.)

I don’t think I’ll ‘look it up’.

I wouldn’t want to be anything like the Taliban.

I agree that we should avoid violence, and also that there are a lot of Keyboard Kommandos here who are great at blustering at other people to go out and mix it up.

But the problem is that direct action is obviously the only thing that gets attention.

These protests, while there may be Trump garb or flags, are about the shutdown and the fact that people have lost their businesses, livelihoods and freedoms at the hands of the tyrant governors...who have not listened to or even permitted any reasonable appeals or even legal actions.

People can only be crushed and constrained for so long and then there comes a point where they simply can’t take it. I think the shenanigans over the election and the fact that the powers that be wouldn’t even hear the complaints has pushed a lot of people to think that there’s no other way to make themselves heard than through direct action.

Not good, and our constitutional system was supposed to make this unnecessary; but the Constitution has been ignored by our governors and mayors, and this is the result.

At some point, we will have to act like we are living in the mid 1700s.

I am a family historian. My family was a member of a New Jersey church in 1776. The pastor was a Tory supporter. He gave a sermon or a blessing that talked about the UK favorably, and he had people in the congregation that opposed him, voicing their objections publically.

We are going to have to do that.

The wheat is fairly jumping off the chaff now. I saw a post by a former assistant pastor of mine that disaviowed everything (march and all).

The steel spine I thought he had turned out to be linguini.

‘Pod.

They need direction and a goal

It'll fizzle unless you have a leader behind the movement.
