Large explosion, buildings damaged in downtown Nashville (RV exploded?)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A large explosion was reported in downtown Nashville early Christmas morning.

The explosion happened in the area of Second Avenue and Broadway near Commerce Street

Most Class A’s are diesel, which doesn’t just explode, like gasoline or propane.

It will burn, yes, but not really explode.

RVs are an inherent part of the American scene. They are seen everywhere. Whether it be a rural, suburban or urban stetting they conjur up the vision of happy family on vacation sightseeing or enjoying nature. What can be a more benign or even comforting sight? Therefore they make an excellent cover and modality for vile terrorists.

More than half are gas, most large class A's (38'+) are diesel.

🇺🇸 — NASHVILLE UPDATE: Unconfirmed reports claim the explosion was caused by explosives placed inside an RV. Police bomb squads and Fire hazmat are on scene.

Emergency units are being told to move back an additional 2 more blocks from their current postions.
