If the government wanted to build a new highway, and if a restaurant was in the way, Eminent Domain would require compensation for depriving the property owner of the property.
I think it is a great crime that government can just wave the magic wand shutdown entire businesses and shrug off the loss of income for owner and employees. The government doesn’t care and feels no sense of responsibility.
My daughter and son-in-law live in Pennsylvania and have
discovered several of their favorite restaurants and a gym they like
are still operating similarly to the prohibition “speak-easies”.

Their association needs to organize a NATIONWIDE pushback. The only thing that will save their industry is nationwide coordinated defiance. Otherwise, people will have to book a flight to Florida or Texas to enjoy a bar or restaurant with family and friends.

I’m so fed up with this moron. He’s killing so many businesses and the science is NOT on his side! 2 weeks before Christmas he closes down businesses-—what a freaking azz. There are hundreds and probably in the thousands of businesses refusing to close-—and worse are the Nazi “Karens” narking on them. I’m really at the end of my rope with these people.
I live in SW PA. Most places of business are not making a fuss about ignoring this idiot. They just go about their business. They do not want to make a lot of noise about it. They all realize that either TW does not follow his own guidance or realize his advice is worthless. Otherwise he would not have gotten sick.
The fines have been to court and are unenforceable due to the fact that if they write a citation they need to cite a law being violated. There is no actual law being violated. I’ll dig up the case. Even a traffic ticket cites the law you supposedly violate.
