Alito Moves Up Deadline For Supreme Court Briefing In Pennsylvania Case, Bringing Within 'Safe Harbor' Window To Intervene

Analysis of the linked article via ZeroHedge: https://www.zerohedge.com/political/alito-moves-deadline-supreme-court-briefing-pennsylvania-case-bringing-within-safe-harbor

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has made a critical decision which may signal that court's willingness to hear a controversial case attempting to flip Pennsylvania's 2020 election results.

Originally, Alito set a Wednesday deadline for the state to respond to GOP Rep. Mike Kelly's lawsuit alleging that a 2019 state election reform, known as Act 77, violates both the state and federal constitutions by creating a so-called "no-excuse mail-in" voting regime.

Many took the Wednesday deadline as political theater, as it would place the case outside the "safe harbor" window which requires that controversies "concerning the appointment of all or any of the electors . . . by judicial or other methods or procedures" to be determined" at least six days before the time fixed for the meeting of the electors," according to Law & Crime.

In other words, the Tuesday deadline may signal that the Supreme Court takes Kelly's case, which was rejected by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court with prejudice last weekend.

If PA flips it could be the domino that flips GA, NV and maybe WI.

You’re going to lose everything you possess and value anyway if the Marxist left prevails. So you might as well prepare to fight for those things, and far more importantly, for the principles that made them possible.

I think that is what JA said was going to happen and apparently you agree it will, if we lose this election. No one here doubts that and if anyone needs slapped it us our feckless politicians, not the foot soldiers.

What political leader has shown even the slightest support for Trump in this election? Maybe Cruz and a few Congressmen, but not leaders in either house.

Generals direct wars, foot solders are merely the tools for them. I am sure most everyone here that is able would report for duty if the President called us up, would you, could you go? I am 82 years old but I would certainly attempt to answer the call.

PA in fact HAS flipped... people just don’t know how to read that in how they structured their choice.

Georgia has flipped... in fact... if not yet in act.

Arizona ? Stick a fork in them in Arizona...

My opinion, at the start, was you only needed ONE to flip.

That there is a cascade effect occurring now... is great fun to watch happen... but while it isn’t necessary to winning the argument... it does mean winning BIGGER...

I’ve seen Roberts’ rulings; I have a clue.

Gloom and doom. Autocorrect drives me nuts...

Strangely enough I read what you intended to say, not what you wrote, had to go back and look and sure enough Goo is what you wrote. Guess I am fully fluent in autocorrect.

Your thoughts are archaic. Roberts is rendered irrelevant

You are right, we are actually in very good shape. People who are downtrodden aren’t reading the correct information or listening to the people who actually have the facts on the ground.

Steven Bannon, War Room Pandemic, is increasingly positive and just yesterday says “it is happening!” Plus a huge development here and this guy was on Steve’s show:

Phillip Kline, Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society...

“...The ONLY Electoral College deadline specifically required by the Constitution is noon on January 20, at which point Trump’s first term officially ends.

All other deadlines — the “safe harbor” deadline of December 8, the Electoral College voting on December 14, and even the congressional vote count on January 6 — are dates set by federal law...”

What do you make of the change now?

Is it possible a clerk just made an error and after all the publicity they realized they made a mistake?

“I read only 77”... ?

You mean... 77 legislators...

Or Act 77... ?

Just a coincidence ?

Anyway, find it odd that there is talk of “a letter” when it seems there were in fact THREE letters ? Here as reported by the not Trump friendly Newsweek:

“Two other letters—one addressed to the state attorney general requesting the assignment of an independent prosecutor to review election proceedings and another addressed to the state inspector general asking for a full review of the Pennsylvania Department of State’s handling of the election—were also signed by dozens of state lawmakers.”

https://www.newsweek.com/75-pennsylvania-republicans-ask-state-dispute-2020-elections-congress-1552551

Otherwise... the PA legislature took an appropriate action, given the circumstances... which enables the best possible result in terms of what happens next. It does not obviate the potential that, given additional information, the PS legislature might act again... and make different choices ?

We read it, now be sure and let us know when anyone that can do anything about it gives a shite. Has Barr arrested anyone, has any Georgia Court acted against anyone involved? Has the Governor even woke up?

We are aware of all these things but so is our political leadership, they can't be that stupid, but they certainly can be that corrupt which means.........
