PASADENA (CBSLA) – The city of Pasadena will have volunteers walking city streets to ensure people are wearing face coverings.
Volunteers will walk major streets around Pasadena to hand out masks to those who don’t have them and make sure those who do are wearing them.
Pasadena city spokesperson Lisa Derderian told CBSLA Thursday the Rose Bowl Loop has been an area of concern. Last weekend, code enforcement officers informed 75 runners on the Rose Bowl loop trail that they need to wear face coverings.
“This is something that we need to take very seriously, our numbers are significantly increasing daily, hospitalization is going up, the data shows that we’re gonna need to shut down more,” Derderian said.

LOL!
I haven’t heard that one in a long time.
Back in the day, the other popular line accompanying the “three finger salute” was “You can take this banana and PEEL IT!”
Creative we were.
Hey! You can’t post the nice mask photo and not give us the ordering link!! ;-) Could not find your 3-layer mask version link, but here are a few similar ones:

Roger that.
Not just the Reich - the communists do the same thing. In fact this still exists in today’s China.
“This is why we need a second amendment.”
When has that ever protected us from the leftist fundamental transformation of this country.
All the conservatives boasting how armed to the teeth they are, are all armies of one. Their guns are little more than a security blanket.
The left on the other hand has recognized that power and influence comes from organizing (remember the community organizer in chief?) large group of people with real or imagined grievances. They have achieved more with bricks and stones, and making the life of their adversaries a living hell, than we can ever dream of achieving with a million of disorganized armies of one.
I have jogged around that Rose Bowl many times over the years and cannot believe I am reading this.
God help us!! We have been invaded by the enemy while we were asleep!
Just as a matter of interest “CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS” have always been little wannabe NAZIS!
Love It!!!
Masks Don’t Work

Didn’t Pasadena get the memo on shutting down for 3 weeks? I mean all nonessential travel is banned. Oh, they don’t expect people will follow the Governor’s orders. Now I understand. They expect people will only follow local orders.
Some people handing out masks are going to get hurt, if you ask me.
Again, how is it these people cannot be informed by thousands of Biden ballots? Run them in circles.
The real story are the people that are volunteering, not that the act is authorized by the (spit) governor.
I'm reminded how the anti-smoking craze began in the public schools.
Kids came home ( 1960's ? ) to tell their parents to stop smoking.
There were television commercials and magazine ads that echoed that directive to a point where now cigarettes cost 10 bucks a pack ( I don't know, but they're expensive) when they were the cheapest dietary device ever created.
So ... where did THESE brown shirts generate from ?
Public school ?
(again ?)
I would suggest an ancient Hindu good luck symbol, rotated 90 degrees to make it look cool. Just my thought.
Brown shorts need to be persuaded
Seems like a time to use some OC spray.
I would say it is normalcy bias, but I cannot. Everyone, everyone even on the left acknowledges none of this is normal.
And none push back.
Code Enforcement Officers remind one of Hitler’s Nazis.
