According to Sensor Tower, Newsmax’s rank among free apps in Apple’s App Store climbed from No. 1,061 on Election Day to No. 8 on Saturday.
On Saturday, when major decision desks were calling the 2020 election for Joe Biden, Fox News joined them. For much of the day, the conservative news outlet was splashed with chyrons about Biden’s victory as its correspondents covered the historic moment in earnest. Over at Newsmax, meanwhile, readers could find stories about how the “mainstream media” called it for Biden, but that Newsmax itself had not.
Lines were drawn in the sand, and for Newsmax Media, those lines seem to be paying off. The conservative outlet’s mobile app is definitely enjoying a moment since the election. According to data tracking firm Sensor Tower, Newsmax’s rank among free apps in Apple’s App Store climbed from No. 1,061 on Election Day to No. 8 on November 8, the day after the election was called for Biden. As of yesterday, it hit its highest rank ever, Sensor Tower says. The app is seeing a similar bump on Google Play.

A similar splintering of audiences is taking place on social media networks as conservative users—angry about what they see as anti-conservative bias from Big Tech companies like Facebook and Twitter—flock to alternative platforms like Parler, which similarly shot to the top of app store charts in the days following Biden’s victory.
Of course, it will be a while before the dust settles on the post-Trump era, and the true winners won’t be known for some time. But if this week is any indication, the balance of power in the media universe could look a lot different in the months and years to come.

If they would only ad My Pillow commercials to News Max I would be in heaven. The First TV has a good lineup of talent also.

I really like Newsmax and am glad to see them doing well. I wish they wouldn’t refer to the “mainstream media” though. There’s nothing mainstream about them. Our side needs to stop using that misleading term all together. There are many other names more appropriate for them: the propaganda media, the left-wing media, the legacy media, or the DNC media for starters.
I thought the same. Odd the artcle was mentioning the idea of mainstream calling it a Biden win, and by saying post-Trump, it insinuates that he lost.

I don’t mind an occasional dissenting voice like they have on Newsmax. What I hate is how often now Fox reports left-wing talking points as “news,” rather than opinion. That’s the really offensive and manipulative thing, and it will only get worse as a whole lot of their “reporters” have an obvious left-wing bias in addition to most of their hosts (just not their prime-time hosts yet fortunately).
I like America’s Voice and OAN too, but they strike me as a little lacking in professionality and polish at this point, as if they were just small local channels versus Newsmax which has grown into a proper national cable network. I also wish OAN had more regular shows and not so much of the headline news type format.
If Trump loses or wins he should start a MAGA party...get everyone who voted for him to signup....we only support MAGA people...
and tell the GOP you want are vote we want results or we put up are own candidates...
working people will support it...Hispanic will support it... Black will support it.. ExDemocrats will support it....they will never support the GOP...they will just stay home......

Agreed, OAN is the big winner. But don’t rule out the Trumpster either buying into OAN or starting his own news network. Heck, the President will have Sean, Laura, Jessie, Bret, Tucker, etc. working for him. Wouldn’t that be sweet?

That's more what I saw this morning, their own hosts making questionable points. Enough so that I turned it to something else. Used to never happen on there, but I've switched it off several times lately. Just my thoughts, my levels of tolerance may be lower than others.
