McConnell: ‘Let’s not have any lectures’ from Democrats who denied 2016 result

President Trump should not be expected to “cheerfully, immediately” accept the outcome of the contested 2020 race and is “100 percent within his rights” to challenge the results, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said in a speech from the Senate floor on Monday.

In his first remarks since Joe Biden was called the winner of the presidential election based on projections, McConnell defended Trump’s use of litigation to challenge vote counts in various states and blasted Democrats like Hillary Clinton for claiming Trump would try to steal the election.

It’s always theater with the Turtle and Linda Graham.

They hate us just as much as anybody else, and we continue to vote for them.

The difference between then and now, of course, is that the Democrats know they cheated, they know they were incredibly sloppy in covering up their cheating,

That's because they have gotten away with it for so long with no consequences, they have no reason to try to be careful in covering their tracks. When there are no consequences and you are sure that you can get away with it, you will do it and not even try to hide it any more.

Trump is a fighter who has a strong sense of right and wrong and is not the pushover wuss that other GOP are.

Also, it would not be a good idea for the president to do anything just yet, he needs to wait until the democrats cannot manufacture anymore votes. For example, addressing problems such as the Dominion Software vote changing is not a good idea now while the democrats can mail in more manufactured votes to overcome the huge number of votes that will be taken from the Biden column and transferred to the Trump column.

Also, Mitch can make the Biden presidency hell on earth if he wants to. The Democrats of course want to remove Biden and install Kamala but Mitch can stop it, even if he is minority leader. Mitch will, of course, exact a price from Jill (Edith Wilson) Biden to keep the Bidens in the White House and that will be that basically nothing gets done.

I agree, Mitch is a swamp dweller but I don’t think he is completely sold out, he certainly could have stopped ACB’s nomination had he wanted to, yet he saw it through and adding this justice to the S/C may yet save this country.

This statement also sends a signal to the GOP state legislatures to consider stepping in, and putting a stop to this MSM nonsense that biden is president elect. The sooner the legislatures act, the better.

If the Republicans, whether re-elected or newly elected, do anything whatsoever to participate in the attempt to legitimize this criminal electoral fraud to elevate a dictatorial usurper, then the Republican Party deserves to die. And it will. His base will never turn out for another election again, because no one will ever believe the outcome wasn’t fraudulent. You can bet your bottom dollar McConnell knows this because that’s what all his insider information sources indicate. The question will be whether McConnell goes on a kamikaze mission by trying to split the difference with the criminal Marxocrats and he winds up killing himself and the Republican Party.

Yes. And anyone who complains about a lack of substantive action on the part of someone like Mitch McConnell should keep in mind that the U.S. Senate has absolutely no role in the presidential election at this point.

You might want to get word of that to Senator Graham. He’s got a hearing scheduled for November 17th on Tech censorship of election news.

Holding a hearing is about the same as going on Sean Hannity’s show when it comes to that dope. Neither course of action is intended to actually accomplish anything.
