Was This the Real 2020 Democratic Plan, which got Blown Up with Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Death?
Town Hall ^ | Oct 31, 2020 | Matt Vespa

Larry Schweikart has been tracking the early vote totals. He’s been signaling a Trump win for a bit now...

Schweikart's recent (Oct 27, 1:51 PM) thread on Twitter didn’t have to do with the early vote totals. It delved into the real 2020 Democratic playbook, and how they knew two years ago that they probably didn’t have a chance in hell of beating Trump due to the booming economy and frankly a real depth chart issue...

So, what does Schweikart think was the Democrats' plan before COVID? He feels that with the Democrats knowing they would be beaten, they wanted to claim fraud and set off another round of the Russian collusion delusion. They wanted a sequel, but the pandemic, he says, gave them hope of a win. With lockdowns in place, let’s do this all via vote-by-mail...

Yet, the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg killed all hopes of the voter fraud pitch ever working for Democrats.

Placeholder ticket? How many thought Obama-Biden was just a placeholder ticket?
But then the violence after a Trump blowout is also part of the Dems’ plan - and of course blame the violence on the Republicans. Goebbels laughs from Hell.

Someone who.is not on the radar could emerge as the Democrat nominee in 2024.

Right after Nixon defeated McGovern, nobody at the time would have predicted Jimmy Catter would be the nominee in 1976.

Ditto in 1988, after Dukakis went down to defeat, nobody then would have said Bill Clinton was the front runner for 1992.

So I would not be surprised if the Democrat nominee in 2024 is someone nobody is talking about right now.

I actually still have a political cartoon from the 1992 Democrat primary season. It shows the democrat runners on a river in inner tubes headed for a waterfall, representing each falling out of the race because of some issue written on their innertube.

The front guy about to go over the edge and end his campaign is Bill Clinton. The words on his inner tube? Gennifer Flowers.

So much for that. :)

Unfortunately behind Trump there isn’t much that enthuses me either. We can’t nominate a RINO. But Trump came out of nowhere, and maybe someone else will pop up. We have to continue to reach out to the Hispanics as they will probably be another 4 to 5 percent of the voting block, easily outmatching the black vote in percent, and their percent turnout will probably increase as well (they have traditionally voted under 50%).

I think Gavin Newsom is the dem candidate in 2024. And I think he has to be considered the favorite to win.

We’ll start worrying about that after we give Trump another term.

Don’t look for anyone who ran this year in their primaries.

It will be a GOVERNOR from a large (D) state.....................

Moscow, Havana, Bejing? Which?

If — as we are told — Trump wins in Arizona, Nevada & New Hampshire, then it won’t matter what happens in PA.

But who?

Andrew “Kill grandma” Cuomo?

Gavin “Let’s Get Rid of Electricity and Set The State Ablaze” Newsom?

Gretchen “Lock Up Everyone But Let My Husband Boat Freely” Whitmer?

Kate “Let Antifa Destroy the Oregon” Brown?

They really have some “great” options

I can see a Newsom/Whitmer ticket. Seems like the smart money to me.

"What has been done to ensure a free and fair election?"

There has been some spadework over the last couple of years - DHS certified election machines for the first time. millions of names have been purged from voter rolls, and the decades-long consent decree that barred Republicans from undertaking voter integrity activities finally expired.

Brenda Snipes, the infamous Broward County (FL) Supervisor of Elections was replaced by a Republican.

You are looking at them from the eyes of a nominally sane person.

You must use the Liberal View template to see who is ‘best’ in their eyes...................
