Catholic First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, has come out in support of the GOP LGBT group, Log Cabin Republicans.
In a video which has been seen over 250,000 times in less than 24 hours, Mrs. Trump explained that her husband, the president of the United States who is now vigorously campaigning for reelection, is the ultimate outsider, and that earned him many enemies in the political establishment.
I was shocked to discover that some of these powerful people have tried to paint my husband as anti-gay, or against equality. Nothing could be further from the truth, asserted Mrs. Trump. Donald loves helping people, and he loves seeing those around him, and his country, succeed.
As leader of the Republican party and president of the United States, Donald has been clear that gays and lesbians will be treated as he has always treated them: equally, she continued. Donald is the first president to enter the White House supporting gay marriage. Donald is also the first president to appoint an openly gay official to his cabinet.
Today we see free-thinkers and independent voices like gay conservatives and Log Cabin Republicans silenced, censored, and bullied by cancel culture mobs, she said.
Im First Lady Melania Trump. I support the Log Cabin Republicans, and I am unapologetically outspoken, she added, incorporating the name of the Log Cabin Trump campaign site, OUTspoken.
Mrs. Trumps expressed support, while firmly stated, focuses not on specific issues popularly associated with the leftist LGBT juggernaut, but on the right of gays with libertarian or conservative views to not have their voices silenced, and to not be ignored by mainstream media.
In recent weeks the Trump campaign has shifted into high gear regarding its outreach to voters that identify as LGBT, a group which the GOP had essentially ceded to the leftist Democratic Party.
While clearly having brewed behind the scenes for a long time, the Trump campaigns outreach to the LGBT world exploded into the public square in August when Richard Grenell, President Donald Trumps former acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and Ambassador to Germany who identifies as a homosexual, proclaimed in a video ad that President Trump is the most pro-gay president in American history.
That video quickly garnered millions of views.
Since then, the outreach to homosexuals has remained at a high level of visibility, with Brandon Straka, the gay founder of the Walk Away movement joining with Grenell and members of the Trump family at TRUMP Pride events which have been held at cities across the country, including Nashville, Tampa, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Saturday evening in Pittsburgh.
Earlier this month, at a debate titled LGBT Throwdown, right-leaning Straka, Blaire White, and Mike Harlow easily crushed the tired arguments and long-held Human Rights Campaign pretensions of their three leftist debate adversaries.
Full transcript of Mrs. Trumps unapologetically outspoken pro-gay remarks:
America is a place where you can be anything you want. Your opportunities are endless because our country provides so many chances to succeed.
As First Lady of the United States, I know how much my husband loves the American people and I know his passion in life is to see all the citizens of this great country do well and prosper.
Donald is the businessman who never worked in politics. The ultimate outsider, and that earned him many enemies in the political establishment.
I was shocked to discover that some of these powerful people have tried to paint my husband as anti-gay, or against equality. Nothing could be further from the truth. Donald loves helping people, and he loves seeing those around him, and his country, succeed.
As leader of the Republican party and president of the United States, Donald has been clear that gays and lesbians will be treated as he has always treated them: equally. Donald is the first president to enter the White House supporting gay marriage. Donald is also the first president to appoint an openly gay official to his cabinet.
The story of America is one of trailblazers and fearless underdogs. Today we see free-thinkers and independent voices like gay conservatives and Log Cabin Republicans silenced, censored, and bullied by cancel culture mobs.
This is not the America any of us want to live in. America was founded on God-given rights of freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of expression. We are a nation that celebrates and protects diversity and we condemn those who bully and intimidate people.
We do not want to live in a place without freedom, where everyone is forced to think alike.
My husband sees the promise of America and all her citizens moving onward as we recover from many challenges. Even if you dont agree with my husband about everything, you have the right to say it. That is the American way; lets protect it.
Im First Lady Melania Trump. I support the Log Cabin Republicans, and I am unapologetically outspoken.
God bless you all. And God bless our beautiful nation.
“You’re such a dinosaur.”
Do you feel the same way about the churches too?
Melania should not be speaking on this subject because it doesn’t help Trump who gets major support from Christians who believe that homosexuality is an abomination.
With what you propose, Ric Grenell would not have been welcome as acting DNI and would not have been able to clean up the mess there in months that *40* years of straight men couldn’t.
Trump is judging based on how people comport themselves and whether they can do the job instead of who they disappear into the bedroom with. Maybe you should do the same.
“It’s for God to judge people,”
Pretty much the entire Bible is a handbook on how we are to judge people.
At this point, its all hands on deck to save this country. You are either a patriot or youre. Ill take 100 Ric Grenells Brandon Strakas or Scott Presslers before I took one Democrat.
If a person wants to have an abortion or is transgender that is their business and I support their freedom to do as they please. Just don’t ask me to pay for it or tell me it is morally right. That is my right.
Then why does Jesus say “Judge righteous judgment” in John 7:24?
Sometimes the appropriate form of love is tough love.
Oh Archie....shut your pie hole or well feed you to the Meathead.
ITYS.
Anyone watching Apprentice can guess a good deal about Trump.
Its OK to tolerate. Its the celebration I despise. That includes bringing it up. Certainly not marriage. That is beyond the pale.
I support conservative homos. Just dont want them marrying each other and showing off in those asinine porno parades.
we know several gay guys who absolutely despise the push being done by LGBTQRSTUVWX...they feel it is a private matter and should not be shoved on people. a person’s sex life should remain private. I have no issue working with a gay person or being friends with a gay person as long as I can still hold and if asked express my own beliefs as they can with theirs.
There are many gay Republicans who are ironically living in the political closet. They believe in freedom and many believe in God. Yes, they are living in sin according to the Bible but that is up to God to judge that person. I can be kind, I can show care, I can reach out and show God through my actions and maybe one day they will come to the point of changing their actions just like I can be kind, show care, etc to anyone living a certain sinful lifestyle (it doesn’t just apply to homosexuality).
I feverently support fellow American’s rights to petition government to address their grieviences. I support fellow Americans rights to live free and unfettered.
I do not support granting additional rights to any group over and above all other Americans.
It is only when (fill in the blank) group has as its members, people who hold a whole host of ideas and beliefs can they truly be free.
I suggest you read 1 Cor. 5
furthermore, I thank God Trump does not simply shove gays aside simply because they are not perfect Christian...we would never have gotten Grenell and he is probably the best person Trump hired!
Wow. you support the right to murder children. Does that stop she. the child leaves the womb ir is it ok to murder 5 year olds as well?
We are called to love people in the way that Jesus did. He preached repentance. At the Bethesda pool He said, stop sinning or something worse will happen to you. (Worse than not being able to get in the pool at over 30 years old).
Jesus loved people enough to tell them about Hell and to help them have victory over it.
At the well He said, sin no more.
Hell is eternal punishment. If you love someone as much as He did, you would want them to repent.
Maybe you should read John 8:1-11 again. “So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.”
One of the most effective champions for Trump right now is Richard Grenell, a gay man. There’s been talk about him becoming the next FBI chief, and I think we need someone like him to clean that particular swamp up.
We can support them but also encourage them to seek help.
I do not understand homosexuality, and do not endorse the “gay agenda”. But I am happy to accept support from “gay” people who appreciate the accomplishments of Trump, and who understand what he hopes to accomplish in the next four years.
As I said on another thread, I don’t know anything about these rappers, such as Ice Tea, Ice Cube, and Little Wayne, but if they appreciate the accomplishments and agenda of Trump, I’m happy to welcome them. The same applies to any in the “gay” community. Welcome aboard if they support what Trump is doing.
Luke 5:17-26 seems to indicate that God is the judge and that the average person shouldn’t.
