Co-host and network legal analyst Sunny Hostin said on Tuesdays broadcast of ABCs The View now that the Republican-controlled Senate voted to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett, the Supreme Court no longer reflected the values of America.
Hostin said, I think her appointment is really going to change the way the Supreme Court is going to not only handle cases but the way the Supreme Court is going to look going forward. We all know the Republican Party has been packing the Supreme Court for decades. Theyve been packing the judiciary for decades. Trump has put now three justices on the Supreme Court and just dozens and dozens of judges on the federal judiciary.

No, it should be getting many from the previous admin into orange jumps suits doing perp walks. I’ll be very very disappointed if this does not happen.
She thinks pink hair, tats, and body piercings represents American values. None of that in ACB’s family.

Wait, what? Dems appoint all sorts of judges, and many Americans feel their values aren’t represented by those judges. So how is this a thing, now? How have R’s been packing the courts for decades? YOU get to decide what American values are?
I’d be thrilled just to get rid of Wickard, and get back to the anachronistic idea that the Constitution gives the goobermint the power to regulate inter....state.....commerce . Not any old thing that might or might not someday, somehow some way, affect something that might is might not have in the past or future be traded in interstate commerce.

Certainly, the Federal government can do that. That gives them complete control over the internet. Which the government also owns, having built it as a military investment from DARPA. The internet began with ARPANET, between universities.
This is why I fervently oppose sales taxes on the internet. If I sell from state A to state B, neither state A nor B may tax the transaction. It’s like a sale between private individuals in separate states. To tax sales in other states is to tax interstate commerce, which only the Federal government may do.
