McConnel is giving a good history of how the senate confirmation process was changed by the Democrats and now the Democrats are whining that the process has changed.

Vote is scheduled for 8:00 pm, but McConnell requested the time he needed to finish his remarks, as Schumer was actually the boring one whose goal was to delay the vote as much as possible. It’ll probably happen a bit after 8:00.
The vote will be almost unanimous. And any no voter will really stick out.

Mitch just related how Schumer threatened members of the Supreme Court that if they didn’t vote the right way, bad things could happen.

Obamacare only works for people who basically don’t pay anything or very little with a subsidy. They used to be on Medicaid and now they have health insurance. I’m surprised Trump doesn’t talk about the tens of millions of people whose premiums and deductibles skyrocketed. I guess those people already know that it happened because it happened to them.
So, if the Democrats boycott, does that mean the Republicans could win without all of them voting “yes”? If so, then losing Collins doesn’t matter, at all.
The Democrats must know they do not have the votes to block.
