Cancer-stricken talk radio legend Rush Limbaugh provided listeners a somber update on his condition Monday after recent scans showed “some progression of cancer,” which he said is “not dramatic” but still a step in the wrong direction.
Limbaugh announced in February that he was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer and had missed several shows this month to undergo treatment.
“From the moment you get the diagnosis, there’s a part of you every day, OK, that’s it, life’s over, you just don’t know when,” Limbaugh said. “So, during the period of time after the diagnosis, you do what you can to prolong life, do what you can to prolong a happy life. You measure a happy life against whatever medication it takes.”
Limbaugh, who recently hosted President Trump for a two-hour interview, continued the devastating update on his diagnosis.
“It’s tough to realize that the days where I do not think I’m under a death sentence are over,” Limbaugh continued. “Now, we all are, is the point. We all know that we’re going to die at some point, but when you have a terminal disease diagnosis that has a time frame to it, then that puts a different psychological and even physical awareness to it.”

We do - but Rush is doing the right thing. He's facing the reality of his own death - and he's slowly helping us come to grips with losing him. Still, like you I pray for a miracle...
We’re all under a death sentence.
God is able to make ALL GRACE abound towards Rush so that he has ALL SUFFICIENCY in ALL THINGS and is THOROUGHLY FURNISHED to do every good work that God has fore ordained for Rush to do in this life.
We don’t get miracles because we deserve them but because God has ordained the sufficiency necessary for us to complete our path in his time.
It happens.
I’ve seen it.I have seen God raise people up with advanced stage 4 inoperable brain tumors from the icu bed and live 5-10 more years happily with God’s grace.
I would love to see it happen for Rush...
There are a lot of haters praying for Rush’s destruction and death. May God overthrow their wicked hopes and desires. :-)

Same here. March 1991, specifically, is when I first heard El Rushbo. He's an irreplaceable national treasure.
News like this is always hard to take, but am so glad that Rush was able to do what he loves. I’m glad that he’s still doing it & so very glad that he has apparently accepted Jesus as lord & Savior. That makes ALL the difference.
The early days of Rush's show with all the feminist / gay / homeless / animal rights "updates" and song parodies were spectacular.
We all basically are.
Some of us are just more aware of it than others when we are dealing with a life threatening condition that medical science can do nothing or very little about.
Still, I feel for him and would not want to be in his shoes.
Were all born to eventually die.
Live with honor, honesty, and integrity, do the best you can by your family and friends.
Know that one day you will face GOD through HIS SON JESUS and that all will be well.

Hannity, Levin, etc. need to have a live tribute down near Palm Beach. Rent a stadium-DolphinmStadium or similar. Let all fans come. Do it now, so he can see it.
