Thursday evening, Twitter announced that it would no longer block hacked content from the platform, but instead label tweets to provide context after the platform was criticized over removing links to a recent story about Hunter Biden by the New York Post.

You mean Cruz demanding @Jacks backside in DC with a subpoena?
Nothing will happen, as usual.

Has the shop owner sworn it was Hunter Biden who dropped off the laptop?
Does he have a signature or hand writing sample on a receipt or in-store video of Hunter Biden in the shop?

Think of the absurdity of the whole debacle:
The only one who could credibly claim that the content of the New York Post story was "hacked" is Hunter Biden.
In the absence of any such claim by Hunter Biden, who the hell is Twitter -- or anyone else -- to make such an outlandish statement?
This is the equivalent of me seeing a person driving down the road behind the wheel of a car a neighbor of mine owned five years ago ... and then immediately reporting it to the police as a stolen car without any basis for my allegation.

If Biden loses, Twitter is going to be well on its way to becoming multiple separate companies. Do you have any clue how many billions and years Microsoft spent fighting antitrust actions? Antitrust is no joke. Every communication Dorsey has ever sent to his minions will be made public, and expose him to criminal liability. He’d better hope the Democrats never lose another presidential election. Because when they do, retribution is coming for him. If Dorsey isn’t afraid, he need to lower his meth intake.

None of that matters. The owner of the store doesn't have to answer for who dropped off a computer at his shop. He didn't buy it from a stranger off the street and sell it to someone else for a profit, so it's not like he's trafficking in stolen merchandise.
If Hunter Biden wants to claim that someone else dropped off his computer at a repair shop, he'd have plenty of folks listening to him explain how that happened.
The lack of a police report or any other indication of a theft would be a bit hard for him to explain.

What the Democrat Party has reduced itself to.
They’re a Looney Toons cartoon parody of their former selves.
Which was pretty sleazy too.

Why does it matter ? You think the pics of Hunter Biden smoking crack and having sex are fake too ? The computer repair guy is legally blind in case you didnt read the news

Gee, all it took was to be threatened with a subpoena from Congress and an uncontrolled shutdown of your business to bring you to your senses, jack-off!!!

Just wait until the videos come out.

I’m just signing up on Parler. I’ve never done the Twitter or Facebook for which I’m glad. Almost afraid to even go with Parler.
Too much in the world to make my head swirl as it is.

I’m not on anything other than FR. It keeps me plenty busy.
I just wonder if Parler is traded publicly and if it would be good to buy now.

A particularly lame attempt at controlling the narrative. As practically everyone on the thread recognizes, this isn’t a case of hacked content. The content that is being censored is the property of the NY Post, a reputable newspaper who has its own standards of fact checking that Twitter and Facebook have not even bothered to consult. This is simply a reflexive and disgusting move to silence a story the gatekeepers find distressing, and nothing more.
