“No one won. But Trump didn’t do well.”

All the negativity against Trump on this thread makes me sick. You’ll all get what you deserve, a Biden presidency. The only problem is you all will take the rest of us down with you.

No, the winner will be Trump since he forced Biden to admit he wanted to raise taxes, he refuse to say he wouldn’t stack the SC, he would end fossil fuels and shut down the country again. Biden and Harris have been hiding so they wouldn’t have to say what they would do.

I think you make some solid points about the debate. In my view we Trump supporters are disappointed because Trump has been on such a roll lately and we expect him to be on his game all the time. There is 5 weeks till the election and the president will be campaigning tirelessly everywhere. Biden will slog along slowly and drawing small crowds. This is going to be won on the ground and Trump by far has the energy on his side.

Biden gave Trump some real gifts tonight especially his intention to shut the country down again over Covid until he says it’s under control. To me, this was a damning mistake on Biden’s part and the president needs to hammer it. Biden declared himself the Democrat Party tonight and made 3 terrible mistakes. One, he claims there is no socialist manifesto. See if he repeats that again under pressure with Bernie and AOC breathing down his neck. Two, he says Antifa is just an idea and not an actual organized group of anarchists. Three, as THE Democrat Party he admitted he has not lifted a finger to influence the Portlannd mayor or OR gov to get the riots under control. He is no leader, he’s a lackey of the Left. Trump can destroy Biden with this and other stuff for the next 5 weeks.

So far Trump is killing it in the after debate polls.

I never expected this “debate” to be a good debate per say since incompatible people were invited to debate unconstitutional big federal government versus constitutionally limited power federal government.

PDJT talked over his time limit several times. But that is because he’s not the type to remain silent when somebody says he said something that he either never said or misquotes him.

Wallace, who always seemed anxious to go to the next question, was arguably driving Biden’s get away car.

Biden seemed to tighten up (only human) whenever PDJT mentioned sensitive, tangent issues in response to Biden’s typically vague critiques. So if Biden was being wirelessly coached, it probably didn’t help him that much.

Wallace’s voice seemed to be weaker towards the end of the debate.

No breaks every 30 minutes as rumored. If Biden’s team requested them then Trump team evidently did’t agree.

Bottom line for me is that PDJT has always been much more transparent about his policies than any Democrat.

Send “Orange Man Bad” federal and state government desperate Democrats home in November!

Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping SARS-CoV-2 will effectively give fast-working Trump a “third term” in office imo.

I don’t see any problem with voting Republican ticket for 2020 elections.

Insights welcome.

I’m not so sure of your conclusion, but frankly, with the impending fraud, we may never know the true results.

While Trump gained no ground, and Biden gained a little, I’m not sure it was the disaster you conclude it was.

I’m certain Biden will agree to no more debates.

I will say that the president’s focus, now, must be to allay concerns he’s too headstrong.

I’m a suburban mom and I think Biden’s looking into the camera looked fake and phony.

A debate is supposed to be two people looking at each other, not at us.

Biden looked bad too. He said Trump was the worst president ever.its just Biden sounds whiny when he attacks.

Trump came off hostile and Biden came off whiny.

Neither is a good look.

No, Biden has been hiding so he wouldn't get pinned down on his positions to keep his weak coalition together.

I agree people don’t care about Hunter Biden (except that anything about “Russia” is like kryptonite for some reason) and people don’t care about billionaire Trump’s taxes.

These candidates at times seem to think this is about themselves. Maybe sometimes it is but. . .

What us moms want is. . .schools and maybe restaurants and Disneyland to reopen. The fault of Dem governors.

I will say that the president’s focus, now, must be to allay concerns he’s too headstrong.

How do you think those concerns will play among white suburban women in places like the suburbs of Philadelphia whom we are told are Trump's Achilles' heel, just as they voted Democrat in 2018?

Trump did not say anything that made his base upset.

Biden said he wasn’t for defunding the police and he wasn’t for the green new deal. That’s going to bite him with the far left. They won’t switch over to Trump, but they may not vote at all.

“Biden has been hiding so he wouldn’t get pinned down on his positions to keep his weak coalition together.”

Afterall, Biden claimed that he is the Democratic party!
I wonder what Obama and Clinton think about that statement?

Yeah, my friends on Twitter are universally furious with Wallace. Main thing they’re talking about.

BIG QUESTION

Did Biden duck the question about the One Party Rule plan? Packing courts, etc.

That is why I point that out. He needs to reach out to those women he may have turned off tonight.

The Hispanics and Blacks, however, loved it.

Let's hope that the polls in the next few days prove me to have entirely misjudged the effect of the debate.
