Only criticism is that he missed some major opportunities to sell his accomplishments. Give numbers on unemployment in March, just six months ago. Sell his results. Talk about wage growth for three yrs vs flat for 15 years. He clearly came in to pummel Biden and get him off his memorized script. He did that successfully, and Biden made several damning statements. Trump could have landed some knockout blows and missed. The audience here isn’t just us who follow this stuff, but average Joe’s who tune in during the fall. Overall, good not great.

Absolutely agree. It’s why I’m 100% behind this President and his methods. He is exactly the same as Ronald Reagan in being the perfect man for the time he was elected and in this particular time, the perfect man is a street fighter like Trump to go against these enemies in a way they’re completely unaccustomed to while at the same time being three or four steps ahead of them. Much as it pained me to see him miss those rebuttals, he may have viewed them as pawns to sacrifice so he could maneuver Biden to infuriate the left.

“I disagree. Trump rarely got to finish his point without being interrupted by Wallace or Biden”

Reclaiming my time!

Most of that time it wasn’t Trump’s TURN to be talking!

Biden did not do well. He survived.

Trump wasted a perfect opportunity for a knockout.

Bad tactical advice from Christie and Giuliani.

He must have had talking points to rebut a line from President Trump. (If Trump says this, say this...)
Biden seemed to be checking off points at one time.

Turn on mike “A” “B” off, let the answer flow. Next turn mike “B” on, “A” off. My granddaughter, age 8, could have controlled the debate better than Wallass. (She shrieks too!)
Regardless of the setting and the debate, Biden showed no respect for a sitting President of the United States.
Biden is a douchebag.

A question on “Climate change” is insulting to our intelligence.

Trump was given 2 minutes, Biden was given what seemed to be 15 minutes on Global Warming at the end Trump crushed Wallace and Plugs

DJT won on the substance, but the weasel Biden beat him on the optics. Optics, sadly, are what wins elections these days.

The bad optics were amplified by the "moderator."

When it comes to organizing the presidential debates, Trump's GOP is still the same old GOP we grew to hate: the LOSER party!

Looking around the room pre-debate I noticed that the Trump family looked stressed. Not a smile on any of their faces.

Biden’s family was noticeably smaller, (since Hunter and his brother could not be there as they are dirty as hell.) So that left only his wife donning her “Political theater” mask. Couldn’t tell if she looked stressed or not because the mask was huge.

When Trump came out, he had an angry look on his face before he said a word. I wish that he had been more relaxed and confident like he is at the rallies. He knew he was going to have to debate both Wallace and Biden and I liked it when he pointed that out. I think he got in a few really good shots, too.

Biden was mostly a disaster. He was able to come out with a couple of fake sincere looking appeals to his lunatic supporters that may have made them happy I suppose.

All in all I think that I agree that there wasn’t a winner. Trump should relax and be confident with all of his accomplishments and try to have some fun at the debates. Maybe he should stop prepping with Chris Christie and start watching some old Reagan debates. Trump is smart and funny and the world should see more of that side.

Chris Wallace was extremely hostile to Trump, and literally bailed Plugs out as he stumbled and refused to answer simple questions.

Only one disappointment: when Plugs ridiculously told POTUS to “come out of his bunker” Trump should have uncorked on Plugs cowering in his basement, 12 “lid days” in September; not taking any real reporter questions, hiding, hiding HIDING in his basement. He should have BURIED Plugs on that. Oh well, POTUS has two more debates to do that.

Trump needs to use detailed facts, not just talk in rhetoric.

Exactly.
Biden told some whoppers and Trump had no retort.
The President should be able to destroy Biden on China trade and jobs moved over there.
Bone up on the mail-in voting fraud in several States. Use numbers.

My quick take is this:

1) Biden did not answer a single question put to him tonight. He responded to the question by criticizing Trump, but he did not put forward any solutions -- at all.

2) Trump was not served by interrupting Biden, except for the few times that he goaded Biden into losing his cool. In general, I think Trump would have actually earned more points by LETTING Biden respond to the questions. Biden's COVID statements, riot statements, voter fraud statements, and Green New Deal flip-flops (within a single response!) were such incoherent ramblings that Trump hurt himself by talking over that babbling.

IMO, it was a head on train wreck.

Biden got blank check questions,

Trump got accusations in the form of questions

Trump lost his cool

Biden just repeated accusations and made personal attacks and name calling

disgusting biased performance by Chris Wallace defending and piling on with Biden

I really hope people see Wallace helping Biden out and Biden not giving answers to some pretty straightforward questions.

That's why every pro Trump supporter with skills in video editing is now making ads showing the lies Joe Biden repeated over and over.

All that is needed is to juxtapose what Biden said with reality. Joe Biden claimed there is no Antifa. But anyone who has watched them parade down the street carrying banners and flags knows he is lying. Why?

Joe repeatedly said that the senate report saying Hunter got money from the mayor of Moscow's wife was false. But no doubt that report has the actual evidence. So an ad should show his statement, the evidence of the payment, and then ask why the cover up.

We have all been conditioned that Biden was “sleepy” and would be a pushover for Trump. Biden stood his ground and we Trumpers are disappointed. I’m not happy either.

I'm a huge Trump fan but his interruptions of Biden and speaking interruptions over the moderator made him look worse than Biden.

Absolutely. It was a complete disaster for Trump.

I don’t mean rebuttals in the classic debate sense, but rather rebuttals of known lies the RATS and the media continually tell about the President like Charlottesville and now the military are losers and suckers. I had hoped the President would have been prepared for both of them to be said, which of course they were, and would have taken whatever he needed to set the record straight. Having said that, yes, that worm Chris Wallace was well, a worm.

Yes yes.

He should have been polite and a gentleman.

Like Romney. That really worked well.
